This kind of thing doesn't happen in the US despite it also being a free market liberal system. The lack of proper regulation and restitution is an inseverable part of this outcome. There is no shortage of socialist health care systems that are run by black money or that are completely dysfunctional.

It doesn't, aside from what I've already pointed out and pretty much every other aspect of American healthcare. Only about 1% of people w/ celiac's disease are diagnosed in the Us, compared w/ Europe. One disease that can be treated by a dietary change, but doctors will prescribe drugs, surgery, and change diagnoses from threeway to sunday unless you request to see it.

Really, R_C, it's not hard to see how corrupt and dysfunctional the American healthcare system. You just need to scratch the surface.
