The teacher had assaulted a colleague of hers on the previous day (and others as it turns out, lol), and the cop came to deal with the dispute, when she attacked him. Apparently this is a sensitive issue because the woman is Roma (as is the majority of that village but not the rest of the staff of the school) and officials are afraid of her instigating a big brouhaha.

Not exactly satire, but w/e...
