I think an important aspect to take into account when comparing the National Socialist Weltanschaaung and Marxism is aesthetics.
The National Socialist Weltanschaaung embraced a very different aesthetical point of view of society than Marxism.
The kind of 'ideal society' the National Socialists were trying to construct was very influenced by idealistic notions of beauty.
Marxists on the other hand were much more materialistic.

That's one reason why the NSDAP never focused its discourse on attacking the Burgueoise: they fullfilled the aesthetics.
The Burgueoise were well-bred, educated, and very valuable people for the nation.
The aim was to elevate the Lumpenproletariat to the same level as the Burgueoise, while at the same time correcting some particular stances about the Burgeois that the NSDAP considerated degenerate (too much Intelectualism and so on).

To summarise, I believe that in the National Socialist Weltanschaaung the concept of 'aesthetically desirable society' differs greatly from that of the Marxist Weltanschaaung.
And this is very important in my opinion, because it paints the 'end goal' or 'the perfect society' in a very different light.

On the other hand, in political regards I believe that Hitler was mainly pragmatic.
He wouldn't have cared to ruthlessly exploit the Lumpenproletariat if he had deemed it necessary to achieve his 'end goal society' in the long run.

So I would argue that National Socialism and Marxism are essentially very different.
Although both had in common this: the end justifies the means.
Only that the 'end' in both cases is vey different.
