Here's something that's not been covered much in the news:

The abortion rate has been going up.

I wasn't able to find much news coverage, but here are three sources:

Abortion Demand Rising Amid Pandemic , April 14, 2020
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/abortion-d ... -pandemic/

Dr. Jen Villavicencio, an abortion provider in Michigan, predicts that demand for abortions will continue to increase during the pandemic.
"I hear it in my patient's voices and questions daily," she said via email. "They're worried about how they will make their rent, feed their family."

Dr. Meera Shah is chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, which serves New York's northern suburbs. She says her staff is expanding telemedicine as they see an uptick in patients seeking abortions, often convinced that "having a child right now isn't best for them."

Dr. Anne Davis (an OB-GYN at Columbia University Medical Center in New York) cited one patient who had wanted to be pregnant but requested an abortion when it became clear her medical condition would require multiple hospital visits. Davis said the woman had received comparable treatment during her first pregnancy but decided this time that the hospital wouldn't be as safe.

"How have you and your team observed the coronavirus really impacting the abortion industry and the number of abortions this year?"
"It's been good, sadly, for the abortion industry, for the abortion industry's bottom line.
Abortions go up, when fear goes up. And when uncertainty goes up. And 2020 was on overload for fear and uncertainty, and that's when you see abortion numbers go up.
We've seen the abortion numbers go up in 2020 and many parts of the country. We'll have our final numbers of the abortion rate, for the United States, a rate that has been going down, had it's largest drop in 2019, but 2020... We've seen the abortion industry show who they are also. Planned Parenthood for instance cut out any other service, at many of their locations, except abortion.

Sharp increase in abortions during lockdown, figures show

Abortions rose by 25 per cent during lockdown, government figures revealed...

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) released figures on Thursday showing the number of abortions pregnant women had undergone during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The data, which covers January to June, shows that April - the first full month of lockdown - saw the sharpest increase, with more than 4,500 more abortions than in April last year: 20,546, up from 16,006.

However, in May and June this year there were fewer abortions compared with the same months last year.

The anti-abortion organisation Right to Life UK called the rise in terminations "a national tragedy".

So I guess with people trapped indoors, they don't have much else to do, other than engage in procreative activity that will get them pregnant.

Or they've lost jobs, have an uncertain future, and, at the start of the pandemic, had no idea about what effect the virus had on foetuses (remember Zika?), and did not think this was the time they wanted to have a child. That would match with the increase in April 2020, but a decrease in May and June - April was from sex before the shutdown, not during it.
