The transition from high inflation to hyperinflation can happen very quickly once the public loses confidence in the currency.

Another reason I don't have a lot of time foe these self proclaimed historical experts is that I don't think a single one of them was able to point out that while Crimeans had been struggling for eight years against western sanctions and the neo nazi enforced blockade, that 2022 marked an eight hundred year struggle for freedom by Crimeans against first the Mongol slaver terrorist gencoiders, followed by the Golden Horde, followed by the Turkish Muslim slaver gencocider terrorists, in the eighteen fifites as part of the Axis of Evil where the Otttman genociders allied with NATO 1.0 in the form of Britain France and part of Italy. This was followed by the Germans in World War I and then with Ludendorff's Bolshevik allies. Crimea being the last part of European Russia to stand against Bolshevik, slaver genocider terrorist rule.

First the Bolsheviks plotted to return Crimea to Muslim rule, and then they conspired with Jewish American Bankers to turn Crimea into a Jewish state. The willingness of the brave Crimeans to fight for freedom was never forgotten by the hate filled Bolsheviks, hence Khrushchev's transfer of Crimea to Ukraine. Note this was completely illegal according to the Liberals international Law that they pretend to care so much about.

Two independent german sources report about an ukrainian officer by the name of Dmytro Martschenko who states that the Donetsk frontline has "broken down".

https://www.berliner-zeitung.de/news/uk ... li.2266999

https://www.welt.de/politik/ausland/art ... onezk.html

I'm not sure what that means because if the frontline would have actually broken down then the russians would break through. But maybe the russians are careful ? After all its a known russian strategy to fake a "hole" in their defenses which later turns out to be a trap for all military that broke through this gap, when the hole is closed behind them and they find themselves encircled.

Anyway the reports mentions the usual: lack of soldiers, lack of equipment, lack of ammunition, poor leadership. The later may refer to the bad habit of ukrainians to hold positions until its too late to leave, thus always maximizing their losses ?

Uhm we heard this one before.... But this has been an attritional stalemate for the last 2 years now since Kherson. Russia captures 500 square kilometers per month is a break through? Uhm, Ukraine captures 1 000 square kilometers in Kursk? Who the fuck cares.

Total size of Ukraine: 603,628 square kilometers: 1207 month = 100 years lol literally, well a little bit more.
Total size of Russia: 17,098,242 square kilometers: 17098 months = 1424 years lol.

I mean, I don't know, when your monthly advance would require you to fight for 100 years or 1424 years then I am pretty sure that is not a breakthrough.

He doesn't explain exactly what he means by that. Is it an actual collapse of the defences, or merely that there is a general and relatively orderly retreat across much of the current frontline? I suspect the latter. And this is to be expected and part of a good defensive strategy. The goal for the Ukrainians here is not to hold territory at all costs, but to inflict maximum casualties on the Russians.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the coming winter - will the Russians press on in the mud and the cold? Its difficult to see how they can maintain the current momentum for much longer. Also things may not be as dire for the Ukrainians as is being made out. I suspect the current manpower and equipment shortage is due to a strategic decision to keep resources held back in reserve for a future offensive. They do have fresh recruits from the mobilizations, and are being trained up. The high command will be waiting for signs of Russian exhaustion and better weather before deploying them for more offensive operations. There is also new western weaponry being shipped in, which presumably is being stockpiled for future offensive activity.

Seeing as these barely trained, press-ganged recruits from the mobilizations don't want to be fighting the Russians, I can't see them holding out for long.

@Potemkin

They've spent the best part of two years actively avoiding having to fight. Why would they start being heroes now?

So who is fighting then Ingliz? You do understand that if you measure casualties just by known losses aka pictures or videos then if 2022 was 1 then 2023 is 1.5 and 2024 is 2.5. Irrelevant what data you use this is the dynamic of Russian losses and you can use either former Oryx database or Meduzas list of Vkontakte posts for dead soldiers/obituaries etc etc etc They all show the same dynamic.

Who is killing those hundreds Russians per day (Actually it is highly likely that it might be thousand or more per day nowadays at certain days by the looks of it if you take casualties and not just strictly killed)

Who is fighting then and injuring/killing so many?
