They won't figure it out, skinster, because they're neo-squadrists. The whole point of their existence is to bolster the power of those actually at the top.

Yeah, thats a bunch of bull what they did to Gab.

I will however, highlight his other post and then ask him what he thinks about the rabbis direct call to political action being the first and foremost direction to the Jewish community, and everyone else for that matter.

We live in a time where the only way people are expected to respond to any misfortune is through political action, I don't think this is unique to the Jewish community, its an entirely western phenomena.

Black kid gets shot by police? Get out and vote! Black Lives Matter!
Whites lose manufacturing jobs? Get out and vote! Fuck Chyna!!
Asians get discriminated against at Harvard? Get out and vote! Fuck affirmative action!
School shooting happens in Florida? Get out and vote! Disarm America!
Jews get shot in their synagogue? Get out and Vote! End Antisemitism!

What do you expect?

At the same time, I do apologize for being a dick and coming down so harsh on you.

However, the right does need to be different in its approach than the left. The politicization of everything that Americans despise started with them, the victim-game was started by them, the intimidation tactics were started by them.

WE (the right) need not perpetuate it.

My critique of you was only out of that spirit.

It's not even a problem, and I understand where you were coming from.

Perhaps my comment at the time was not appropriate for this forum, but I still stand by it 100%.

I have been absolutely disgusted by the wall to wall saturation of coverage of this event. It is like near 9/11 level media saturation and brainwashing going on.

I was especially disgusted to see this article from the The Forward today. Perhaps I should have expected to read something like this.

Of Course We Have To ‘Politicize’ The Pittsburgh Bloodbath. That’s What Jews Do.

This week, you will hear many voices telling you not to “politicize” the shootings in Pittsburgh. “I will not politicize the murder of 11 Jews,” celebrity rabbi Shmuley Boteach wrote, before bizarrely connecting Pittsburgh to the Iran deal. “Have a moment of silence, light a candle,” Shmuel Rosner suggested, and don’t “treat this butchery of hate… as an opportunity to advance a political agenda.” Anti-Defamation League (ADL) CEO Jonathan Greenblatt declared that anti-Semitism “isn’t an issue of left, right,” and former ADL leader Abraham Foxman tweeted, “No need to politicize it.”

Ignore them. We Jews have always politicized tragedy; politicization is the engine of Jewish survival, the process by which we take responsibility for our destinies.

When someone tells you not to politicize Pittsburgh, then, they are ignoring two millennia of Jewish history. Anti-Semitic violence is not an act of nature; it does not descend from the heavens mysteriously, or rise without warning from the sea. Such violence is the result of specific historical circumstances, of concrete decisions by particular actors: Trump’s xenophobic rhetoric, for instance, or the rest of the Republicans’ conspiratorial propaganda about George Soros. It is connected to broader political patterns: the rise of an ultra-nationalist right, for instance, around the globe.

And most of all, tragedy is a cause for controversy: for saying explicitly which Jews have chosen the right path, which have chosen the wrong.
That may be uncomfortable, and it will cause some pain. For those who enjoy the status quo, who find consensus congenial, it will be better to keep mouthing the same platitudes. For those who have allied with the far right, those platitudes serve an extra purpose, obfuscating the question of their collaboration with Jew haters. But the rest of us must politicize. Nasty, unpleasant political argument is the only choice that Jews have ever had, if we want to fight back.

Note the following bold text. There is a nasty fight going on in the Jewish community, and both sides are using the more astute non-Jews as pawns and just brainwashing everyone else.

When I was listening to NPR today, I would have much rather heard a discussion about the fight between left wing and right wing Jews instead of the host interviewing someone from the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society about Jews immigration into the US because of pogroms and why we need to support their immigration efforts.

After Pittsburgh–Teaching Jews to Shoot Guns Gains Traction at Pennsylvania Tactical Training Academy

YS: Every person has the basic right to self-defense. This does not depend upon geographic location or any other circumstances. Each person has an obligation to learn how to defend themselves and their families.

The media attention generated by this tragedy has put my training school in the spotlight, and has caused many Jews to flock to my courses to get them prepared to defend themselves and their communities. I am currently overwhelmed with demand for these courses at a level which I am simply not able to supply. This is at the end of the day a very good thing, as apparently many people have woken up, but it saddens me that it has come under these terrible circumstances.

JV: In a recent Reuters report on the Cherev Gidon academy, you were quoted as saying, “The fact is, we’re at war. We want every Jew in America armed.” Did you predict that the alarming escalation of virulent anti-Semitism would reach such a toxic level as it is now and can you elaborate on how you feel we as a society we have devolved in terms of civility?

YS: I did predict this attack well before it happened as well as a general rise in violent antisemitism. To me the writing was on the wall and it was clear that we needed to be proactive and prepare for the coming storm, rather than be reactive as we see many in the Jewish community doing now. We see today violent antisemitism becoming mainstream. In the last year we have seen the Neo-Nazi marches at Charlottesville, a string of violent assaults on Hassidic Jews in NYC by Muslim and Black assailants, virulent antisemitic rallies by the far left on US campuses, and just recently, Louis Farrakhan publicly compared Jews to termites.

This kind of incitement is what Hitler used to dehumanize Jews and prepare the ground for a mass genocide. We would be foolish to ignore this climate of hate and pretend that we are still living in the America of the 50’s. In the 1930’s, Vladimir Ze’ev Jabotinsky saw the writing on the wall in Europe. He traveled across that continent warning Jewish communities of the coming danger ahead. Sadly, most of them chose to ignore him; and in the end they perished. We are now seeing similar events occurring in the United States, and we would be foolish to make the same mistake again by ignoring the clear warning signs.

Another shooting took place in a synagogue in California last week, killing one and injuring a handful of others. I didn't see it posted so figured I'd add it to this thread.

The killer was a white supremacist.

Overall, the shooting event and attempted media hype seems mostly like a fail.

I mostly stayed off Twitter this weekend, but the few times I checked in, the shooting didn't appear in my timeline.

I happened to notice in the Yahoo comment section of related articles on the shooting that the number of comments were very low; probably 5,000 comments was the most I saw on an article which is far below the number of comments the daily outrage porn article receives.

No one even brought it up at work today.

I think it was just bad marketing but primarily bad timing. There was only one casualty and I bet not too many people are aware of Poway, CA. I know I wasn't.

It was a busy weekend with the Avengers fanfare and whatnot, and with the weather warming up, people probably just had other things on their minds.

Plus the fact that people are already aware that liberals are only hyping this story because the shooter is allegedly some random white guy, and it directly benefits their pet agendas to hype this story probably made it seem very tiresome and yawn inducing for some.

Besides, we had two high-profile shootings over this weekend. There was the shooting where a Pittsburgh Steeler's NFL draftee was injured, while another was killed along side of him along with drive by shooting in Baltimore that left one dead and seven injured.

American authorities have thwarted an alleged plot by an army veteran to bomb a white supremacist rally as revenge for the Christchurch terror attacks.

On Friday (local time), 26-year-old Mark Domingo, a convert to Islam, was arrested while in the final stages of planning to plant a bomb at a white supremacist rally on Sunday at California's Long Beach.

Domingo had allegedly planned, since March, to use a weapon of mass destruction to commit mass murder as revenge for the Christchurch mosque attacks.

After the shooting, he wrote on social media that there needed to be retribution.

John Earnest is the San Diego synagogue shooter who was inspired by the Aussie shooter. In the suspect's manifesto he talks about anti-Trump and anti-Jewish sentiments and also takes credit for the Escondido mosque fire from a few weeks ago. Mark Domingo planned to use a weapon of mass destruction to commit mass murder as revenge for the Christchurch mosque attacks. There will be more to come.

Writing a manifesto and uploading it to an anonymous message board to be conveniently found, and tipped off to prominent anti-free speech and anti-2nd amendment sites right before going to shoot up a religious place seems to be the hip and trendy to do these days.

For what it might be worth , the Poway shooter was an Orthodox Presbyterian https://www.washingtonpost.com/religion/2019/05/01/alleged-synagogue-shooter-was-churchgoer-who-articulated-christian-theology-prompting-tough-questions-evangelical-pastors/?utm_term=.7ff10a4e1421 . This denomination has had a history of harboring reactionary sentiments , such as Christian Reconstructionism , whose originator was an Orthodox Presbyterian minister named R.J. Rushdoony. https://religionnews.com/2019/05/01/how-to-think-about-christian-terrorism/ I know that if the shooter were a Muslim , people would be referencing his religion in speculating about motive . So I feel that it is not out of line to mention that the terrorist in this case was a Christian supremacist extremist .
