I have been told the Chinese Language news is reporting that 1.4 million people showed up to Victoria Park today.

Many, like my family and I, cannot even get in and have to turn back early because of the lack of movement.

All roads leading to or from the park are blocked and cross-harbour bus services almost have to suspend entirely. The span is probably at least some 4km east-west and 1km north-south.

And we do this with full knowledge that the PLA will be after us sooner or later.

The happiest thing today, though, is an old friend of mine, who's a staunch police supporter, expressed support to us when I shared the scene on Instagram.

With such a tyrannical regime, anybody loving it are oppressors themselves and deserve deportation back to the home country they love so much.

The two person you quoted, as well as you, who unconditionally spread these LIES and DECEITFUL MESSAGES, are enemies of me, my family, my friends, and the 1 million+ people who showed solidarity today. FUCK OFF.

It is because they showed us that they are scums of nation. They are barbaric and used triads to beat protesters on 21 July 2019, and the police use violence themselves. Why can't we use this term when they don't treat us as persons in the first place?

The police and pro-China people are the violent ones here.

Even the protesters had sometimes crossed the line, they apologized immediately. No such thing from those in power, especially the police

STOP SPREADING LIES.

The interpretation that China wants you to believe: That the protest has always been violent, and thus unjust, and thus everyone participating in it are evil-doers.

You are shilling for the communist party. Presenting only the CCP position.

I know you are a hard-left socialist and probably marxist, but do you really need to support the CCP so publically???

If I didn't already know your posting style and politics, I would probably suspect you were a CCP bot.

skinster wrote:I never said that though. I said there's been some violence within the protests and that there's U.S. intelligence involved in them. Both are facts.

With so many people participating in it, and with the Chinese authority keep ignoring their own, bigger violence (I have cited some reports before so don't say I didn't give evidence), is it really wrong that some decide to resort to more active ways? I even posted the "violent" protesters' apologies to prove that they are not intentionally causing problems.

As for U.S. intelligence, with the power of CCP so unchecked, many of us actually welcome U.S. involvement and think they actually didn't do enough. And you ignore that fact that China actually threatened us with MILITARY POLICE. Who's the bigger bad here?

Frankly, he has his rights to do that, but it also mean that I also have my rights to attack him in whatever means I think appropriate.

Hey you guys, the cops apologized for using tear gas in the airport.

They didn't apologize for not investigating triads beating up protesters on 21 July 2019.

They didn't apologize for shooting out an eye of a female protester

The Government refused to launch an independent investigation committee for all these atrocities.

And the most important thing: The Government and the Police are power-holders and thus they almost always have to be responsible at whatever incidents happened. And from the events these two months, it is easy to see that the Hong Kong Government and Police didn't.

To be fair, I believe he or she did like one of my comments in this thread that wasn't exactly pro-China.

Every protest usually draws anarchists out, you have to expect a bit of violence from time to time. Some anarchists mainly interested in causing violence are going to naturally turn up(happens to every major protest movement unfortunately).

The Hong Kong protestors have had very minimal violence in relation to the numbers of people who have turned out to protest overall. Yes there are some violent participants, and also some communist sympathetic infiltrators doing violence then pretending they're part of the movement.

But 1.7 million turned up yesterday, and there was little violence or arrests in comparison to how many people showed up.
