Farewell, unwashed Russia,
Land of slaves, land of masters,
And you, blue uniforms,
And you, people, devoted to them.

Perhaps beyond the wall of the Caucasus,
I will hide from your pashas,
From their all-seeing eye,
From their all-hearing ears.

How does Prigozhin get away with this shit. He's basically saying the SMO has been a total failure.

ingliz wrote:It was @Rugoz.

Strategically "irrelevant" for Russia, due to the lack of a Northern axis (loss of Izyum), without which an assault on Kramatorsk and Slovyansk is unlikely going to succeed.

He gets away with it because Putin is a bitch! It's like someone once said: "The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don't have any."

Prigozhin knows that he has power, and that sometimes it takes just a little bit of balls to show it. Prigozhin has sucked enough cock in jail, and has decided that he's had enough and ain't gonna suck an old man's cock no more like everyone else in russia is doing.

Of course it's been a failure. Name me a single goal called out at the beginning of the invasion that has been achieved.

Russia has dedicated so much resources to stealing toilets in Ukraine they're even unable to defend their borders from incursions of small groups of soldiers.

What a genius Lermontov was!

Fun fact: Lermontov had Scottish ancestry. His ancestors’ original surname was Learmonth. :)

Are you sure he means to criticise Putin?

He certainly isn’t praising him. He’s already called Putin an old dumb fart, as well as saying that using his militia to invade and occupy Moscow would be an interesting idea.

So besides Shoigu and Gerasimov he's at odds with Putin as well? Isn't it a bit too much for him? I'd understand if he wanted to be more independent of the MoD and meant to be Putin's number one military strongman.

Don’t know. Maybe he just speaks his mind when he’s pissed off. Maybe he saw that Putin wouldn’t have let him go far with his political ambitions anyway and so decided just to throw him the bird figuratively speaking.

I hear russian soldiers on the front lines quite often talk shit about putin anyway. And why wouldn’t they? He’s only been making the lives of Russian soldiers and the Russian people in general worse and worse for a long time now.

It wasn't spontaneous at all, although it was poorly staged indeed. He may have done it for his own sake and popularity. He must feel really indispensable.

They've captured the water supply to Crimea.
they've captured the land bridge, the port of Mariupol and now control the Sea of Azov.
They now control 90% of Luhansk province.

Russia has dedicated so much resources to stealing toilets in Ukraine they're even unable to defend their borders from incursions of small groups of soldiers.

This is not WWI western Front, it has no where near the troop density. Russia is equally capable of launching suicidal raids across the northern border of Ukraine.

I have no idea as to the truth of these sexual allegations, but true or false, I can't really see their military significance. Amongst the British armed forces in World War II, there was a lot of speculation about the testicular health of Adolph Hitler and other leading Nazi party members. I however tend towards the view that it was Soviet and American entry into the war that would prove more crucial to the military outcome.

None of which were mentioned as goals at the beginning of the invasion. Your comprehension of the English language sucks.

Fucking russians and conservatives make up successes as they go as if they were all part of the plan.

Anything that russia has so far achieved can only be considered a success by a fucking loser.

One of the problems we have is that Liberals become so emotionally invested in personalities that they project this on to everyone else. Some of Trump fans may have a similar attachment to personalities, but that has nothing to do with me. I was backing Hilary in 2016, I only switched my support to Trump after she won the nomination and went mad NeoCon. Nothing to do with personalities.

I think the Liberals were at their most pathetic when it came to Syria, seeking to blame the conflict on Bashar Assad, as if the Syrian civil war was some how a product of Bashar Assad's personality, rather than religious and ethnic tensions stretching back over a millennium. Yes Putin's personality is more important to the evolution of this conflict, but there was always a strong chance of violent conflict even all out warfare at some point, even if Putin had been run over by a bus in 1999.

Anyway the problem was your logic not my comprehension. So far the invasion has not been a failure, even if it fell a very long way short of Putin's expectations. The West in its various guises, France, Britain and part of Italy, Hindenburg and Ludendoff, American Jewish financiers, Hitler, etc has been trying to steal Crimea from Russia for a hundred and seventy years. The West was trying to steal Crimea from Russia a hundred years before Vladimir Putin was even born.

Some takeaways from this interview with Douglas Macgregor, which amusingly shows again the different realities some of us speaking on this topic in this thread are living in:

- If US/NATO forces intervene, Russians will crush them
- Problems with F-16s in Ukriane is finding the right people to fly them and only mercenaries are available as of now
- Poles are less enthusiastic for the war than they once were and are pissed off with Ukrainian refugees taking over their country
- The Western coalition is getting smaller and smaller in defence of Ukraine
- Putin will be around long after Biden and Russian military forces are bigger and stronger than ever, despite some mistakes
- Behind the scenes in Washington D.C., lawmakers are talking about turning this into a “frozen conflict” like putting a line through it a la the Koreas, and generally aren’t “acknowledging reality” on the ground
- Russians seeks to demilitarise Ukrainians so that they can’t attack again and will not leave until that’s done
- 90% of Bakhmut was in Russian hands for months, it was only a small sliver that was under Ukrainian control which Russian were reluctant to attack because they had intel of civilians forced to live in basements there - these are the ethnic Russian Ukrainians who’ve been attacked by Ukrainian forces for about a decade - and Russians didn’t want to kill them, which is why Russian troops have been steady in their takeover of Bakhmut
- Prigozhin deliberately used Bakhmut to lure Ukrainian soldiers into attack, and destroy, and basically “used Bakhmut as sort of a red flag for the Ukrainian bull” and is playing Western audiences with his public statements
- "Upwards of 50,000 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in and around Bakhmut...That’s a huge number! The losses were staggering! Bakhmut was the graveyard of the Ukrainian army.”

Yes, the West is picking a nuclear fight with great powers, and they are doing it after locking their own citizens in their houses for three years to "stay safe."

Anyone who believes that the West isn't a collapsing pool of corruption... isn't paying attention to anything other than their smart phones and video games.

And it's likely that the West will be defeated economically in short order. We are bankrupt and run by criminals... this doesn't bode well.

Rammstein's countries pledged to provide US$65 billion in military aid to Ukraine – Pentagon's Chief

That is almost the same as the whole Russian military budget for 2023 and that is just 1 Rammstein conference today.

Not sure how posting live footage that someone recorded showing Western taxpayers money going up in flames amounts to "fake news", but okay. Here's the Ukrainian woman who recorded the footage, who was forced to apologise for it after it destroyed the kind of propaganda you promote, which ranges from "it didn't happen" to "it's not a big deal anyway"
