Canada doesn't ban abortion federally, and neither does the US. The difference is that Canadian Provinces cannot impose criminal penalties for most matters (IIRC, only Parliament can), while American states have kept their power to legislate on criminal matters within their respective jurisdictions.

Along with all of their male relatives who failed to preserve their virginity and ensure she is married off to the man who impregnated her (and who has subsequently accepted responsibility of the woman on behalf of their own family). These "men" are just as guilty for failing to police the sexuality of their women and aid in the transfer of the woman to the man's family for safekeeping.
