Oh... I have long awaited this day. :D

Apparently, this is to do with the Presidential Records Act. While he was in the White House, Trump was doing stuff like ripping up Presidential papers and trying to flush them down the toilet. The staff kept having to unblock the White House toilets. Lol.

Tl;dr: this raid is unlikely to lead to serious charges.

Stop pooping on my parade.

Trump called the raid "a dark time in our history" or some shit like that. :roll:

Trump is not above the law, no one should ever be above the law. Why does this simple concept escape these people? Even more so, it escapes MAGA moron followers like Bluto.

This is worse than anything Putin has done to an innocent member of the opposition, given Trump has committed no crimes.

Care packages for all when the civil war kicks off. US can't survive another election. This is on the same level as 9-11 politically speaking. A former US president who is up for running again soon is being molested by the power-hungry corrupt party in power. Definitely a first in US history.

Besides killing them, poisoning them, throwing them out of a 3rd story window, ginning up fake criminal charges, etc?

Propaganda needs to be at least vaguely plausible, and that was entertainingly stupid.

Because they don't believe in the rule of law or things like freedom or democracy. They are entitled brats who think the rules should apply to everybody else except themselves. Well, fuck them. The rules need to apply to them too and they have no right to destroy freedom and democracy here in the United States or deny others their rights such as the right to vote and the right to have a voice in government.

The nutjobs are also talking up violence again.

@late

They will be making a big mistake too. That will be more criminal charges and lawsuits against anybody who commits violence. They better be prepared to face jail time and if they have anything of value, lose them to possible lawsuits. Moreover, they will not be seen as legitimate and fit to govern in the overall eyes of all the American people. The Republican party will seriously have damaged its legitimacy to govern because they want to resort to violence when they can't have their way.

Oh, it had better result in some substantial evidence of felonious activity. I agree with @Saeko . There needs to be serious legal action taken to end once and for all the ongoing danger that Trump poses to the good of the body politic. His crazed cult of personality has continued to threaten the public order with a fanatical hostility towards the civil authority. If such undue influence is to be brought to an end, Trump must be exposed and sentenced. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2022/08/merrick-garland-donald-trump-fbi-raid-mar-a-lago/ , https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2022/08/fbi-trump-mar-a-lago-responses/

Both should be locked up for a very long time.

The FBI are not like local police. The feds have an extremely high conviction rate. This is because they are competent, and never bother to arrest anyone unless they have a very strong case. If Trump is ever arrested, he will be found guilty (assuming he doesn't take a deal).
