The BBC interviewed a man who said he saw the gunman on a roof outside the event, and spent at least a couple of minutes trying to get the police to do something about him. He also saw the gunman shot dead after the event.

The BBC interviewer said they would have to verify such events.

Anything is possible and it seems like a perfect storm of good PR (just grazed with visible blood, Trump defiant, perfect flag photo, several days out before RNC etc), but the shooter was shot dead and another rally attendee was killed. That may be hard to fake.

So Trump showed great personal courage in defying the Liberal deep stage, telling his supporters to fight before leaving the stage, that he will not be cowered by lawfare or warfare. Now we don't know what role the Liberal deep state had in this incident. Was their deliberate ignoring of warnings, was it just incompetence, maybe there was no incompetence or foul play on the part of the security agencies, may be their conduct was exemplary and this was just an unlucky incident that can never be 100% avoided.

We don't know and certainly Trump didn't know at the time. At the time coming under fire, Trump must have feared that the Liberal deep state were going to end him. For all he that last word of defiance might well be the last thing he ever got to say in public.

There's some speculation that the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks (20), donated/campaigned for Biden in 2020-2021 and then became a registered Republican some months ago.

Possibly he's one of those who's not happy about this election's candidates at all?

Don't get me wrong because I did work for a Democratic campaign when I was 17/18, but he'd have been 14/15 at the time. Minors can't donate to campaigns. He only graduated high school in 2022. Of course he only became a registered Republican recently - he was only eligible to become a registered anything recently.

He was wearing merch from one of the largest pro-gun YouTube channels. But until the SS seizes his computers and we get a manifesto, the only thing provable is 'a Republican shot Trump'.
