I don't know why being alone/single has such a bad rap though, since it's pretty chill.

It's the peer pressure. "Everyone else has a relationship. I must be a loser if I am single." This mindset is self-destructive. I gave up on following the crowd in my early teens. I tried, failed and decided to be myself.

I agree. I like being chill. Things are more simple without a bf.
