Other. The DNC is traditionally to rally the troops and develop a battle plan. Kerry didn't really do either. Undecided voters, traditionally, need to be convinced that they would do a better job than the incumbant. Again, Kerry didn't do this.

Kerry didn't really lay out anything special. Nothing really stands out, there was nothing groundbreaking, which is where the bounce would come from. As it stands, it was really just another rally.

Other: People didn't see anything they liked in Kerry. I guess they've seen everything already through the constant media whoring. Or he just didn't inspire anyone.

Other: Its hard for a convention to have an impact if nobody watched it. With the 24 hr cable news channels and the internet disseminating info constantly, the conventions as sources of info are becomming obsolete.
