When Trump gets into the office, a one sided nuclear war will be a possibility. :hmm:

Yes, on Russia itself obviously to quell the rebellions against his rule.

I would have thought that was obvious.

Stop playing silly buggers in the Ukraine.

@ingliz I agree.

What the fuck are we doing there anyway?? It's not our battle, and not our problem. Do we really want to be against someone so dangerous as Putin?

No. We need to allow Putin to take care of his affairs. If we step in to provide aid to Ukraine then we are putting ourselves at risk. FUCK Ukraine.

The reason that any of this is being discussed is because Biden and the deep state are trying to "Trump-proof" the war and NATO, which means escalating the war and creating an even greater compulsion for prolonged conflict with Russia.

This is the most stupid thing imaginable, but the Democrats are doing it.

This is particularly rich for all of us who remember them as the party that valiantly tried to oppose the Iraq war. At least, that is hwo I remember them 20 years ago.

@Agent Steel

"I would say this is an incredibly expensive way to deliver what is probably not that much destruction.”

— Jeffrey Lewis, a US nonproliferation expert

I don't think he'd be saying that if one landed on his head.

A nuclear-capable MIRV'ed Oreshnik IRBM can deliver four independently targeted 300kt warheads to anywhere in Europe.

The best way to prevent it is to categorically deny the legitimacy and relevancy of Russia's nuclear threats. If we allow nuclear weapons to become offensive weapons mankind is doomed.

Do we want to get on that bully's bad side? Do we want him to target our own people? With nukes? No. He is a man of great power. Wouldn't it be smarter to form an allegiance with such a man?
