I was reading an article about some of the Doctors in Cuba that are sent to other countries to do humanitarian work. Apparently it's one of the key ways the government pulls in money to fund itself. Didn't realize they charge for their services.

Anyway, it was describing the experience of a few Doctors that were a part of that program. Basically along the lines of how they were told to fake some stats (claim they saved more lives than they actually did), and how some of the women Doctors were posted in dangerous places (some raped). Sounds horrible.

I have heard a lot from cubans in florida .
Mostly not good.
Now as I told godstud all nations have good and bad facts .
Many just cant handle the truth . they live in a bubble.
Cuba is the true picture of a third world nation..
At one tine cuban troops were all over the place trying to import communist ideas into island nations and south and central America. But after Russia's commie goverment folded up like a dead fish and coupdnt afford to prop up cubas economy it started to really suck there.
Fidel had so many in jail he couldnt afford to feed them and the Mariel boatlift to Florida start.
Its a shame that fidel screwed it all up . he could of done business with the usa and really improved life there but choose russia .
He could of kicked the gangsters out and took control of gambling and turned Havana into a grand destination to make vegas look cheap. Expecially with great coast line and freindly beautiful people.
Sport fishing hotels sugar production comerical fishing. And still kept a semi SOCIALIST goverment to tinker with.

Qatzelok I never said I value the right to carry A gun over EDUCATION. Its one right I have that I value . but tell me something if you get a grade A1 education in cuba what will you do with it. You cant start a business with out permission you wont be well paid .
Here you can start a business with out uncle fidal giving permission and make millions in cuba your making pennies a hour.
Here you can buy a house by a new car and not need uncle Fidel to say you can have it.
You can also stand out side the Capitol and protest call trump names how that work out with uncle fidel.

The US has a long history of neo-imperialism in Latin America.

By this, I mean that US multinational corporations have used the economic and military power of the US to force Latin American countries to give them the right to take enormous amounts of wealth out of the country with impunity.

The countries affected then organise themselves and take back their country, usually with a socialist government in charge. These governments then kick out the plundering US companies.

Then the Yanquis get mad.
