Fox is the worstest I ever seen...

This is another way that propaganda protects itself. It sets up a "Our propaganda versus Their propaganda" model, and then provokes brainwashed viewers to "choose sides" rather than to "notice the lies and manipulation."

Which team are you rooting for?

For example, this *left-wing* blogger points to Tucker Carlson as "...a face that never missed a meal, never bounced a check, was never late with the rent, never picked up a fucking check. It’s the face of a putrescent, pusillanimous prick...".

Now, I'm not arguing against his opinion on Tucker Carlson at all. But it only takes a few minutes of Chris Cuomo to realize that these two hosts are mirror images of one another, with one appealing to "leftism"-buyers, while the other appeals to "rightism"-buyers.

Which lies do you prefer?

There's bias in doing op-ed stuff that FOX and MSNBC/CNN does, but there's also bias in the other seemingly objective reporting, choosing which stories to cover and not cover.

That's very true, and people ignore it, despite having so many instances. (Trevyon Martin being shown as a cute little kid instead of a gangster wannabe with grill is a great example.) Obviously the op eds are themselves biased. But that bias is obvious and open. As such it is not dangerous, because no one can pretend it is "objective". But the bias in the op ed page or show does not prove that the news as a whole is biased the same way. Or even that other op eds will agree. His incorrect point was that FOX News' opinion columns WERE their news. That's wrong, and it shows he has no idea how News works.
