I'm interested in knowing the opinions of PoFo-ers on these general topics;

1- The new US-China cold war; Subs: 1-the Indo pacific alliance proposed by the US, 2-Chinese expansion in central Asia and Pakistan, 3-growing confrontation in African countries such as the Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Nigeria between American and Chinese interests.

2- Relations between Egypt and Ethiopia and developments over the Nile water disputes. Subs: 1- How it plays into global politics, mainly that of US-China relations since each is supported by a different power. 2- Impact of the disputes on the internal Egyptian affairs, mainly the growing tensions between Muslim brotherhood followers on one side and secularists and Coptic Christians on the other hand. 3- The effects of the dispute on the vulnerabilities of both countries to regional conflicts, mainly in Libya, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, etc.

3- Balance of powers in the Islamic world, mainly Sunni nations, with the rise of Indonesia and to a lesser degree Turkey in opposition to the leadership of Saudi Arabia as the leader of the Sunni world.
Subs: 1- How will it play into regional affairs of the middle east with diminishing Saudi influence. 2- How will the rise of Indonesia play into the affairs of South East Asian politics and the dispute in the south China Sea as Indonesia gains more influence over Sunni nations and groups in the region. 3- How will it play into the situation with Iran.

4- Brexit. (already talked about alot so 'll keep it brief) Subs: 1- Future of London as a financial hub when its outside the EU. 2- future of the EU and its stability. 3- Potential for EU expansion and relations with the EEU. 4- Effects on Europes relations abroad, especially with Asian nations, namely China.

5- US economic future.
What are you predictions regarding the economic stability of the US in light of the massive deregulation and internal unrest at the moment.

Feel free to go into details in your opinions on any of those.

1 - China will win due to its high population, and its large industry. China could expand its influence into Pakistan since Pakistan is weaker, but India and its second largest population in the world won't let that happen. China should expand its influence into those African nations you mentioned.

2 - Egypt and Ethiopia should not dispute on who gets more access to the Nile River. And all religions should be banned so that no one can fight or dispute due to religious motives.

3 - A socialist revolution will be needed to prevent Islamic rule in the Middle East.

4 - The EU should not exist. It is a neoliberal agent that causes cancer to the whole continent of Europe. Germany should have the lead influence of all of Europe, and form industrial relations with China.

5 - The US is getting more expensive, and the state doesn't give as much welfare as it used to. My future economic prediction of the States is that it will be more expensive to live in, enforcing the family institution. The US is an obsolete country due to its conservative politics.
