By 'nations' I mean why Europe did better than Africa over the long, long term. Why Eurasia did better than N. & S. America over the long, long term, etc.
By subcultures I mean why some groups in a nation rise while others fall. So, Germans did better than Latins in Argentina and rose in the same environment. And, why Tamils rose and others on Sri Lanka didn't.
