"In 2020, per capita murder rates were 40% higher in states won by Donald Trump than those won by Joe Biden...
8 of the 10 states with the highest murder rates in 2020 voted for the Republican presidential nominee in every election this century.
Every news outlet from FOX to CNN to The New York Times to local newspapers has a story with attention-grabbing headlines like “US cities hit all-time murder records.” Fox News and Republicans have jumped on this and framed it as a “Democrat” problem."

OK has a murder rate that is much, much worse than NY. In fact, if it got 0.4% worse, it would be TWICE the murder rate of NY.
Fox is lying it's ass off 24/7 about crime. The reality is it's bad everywhere.
Not that Republicans have a policy proposal.. Nor would they do anything if they had the chance. They would 'get tough on crime'; but that wouldn't work. Community building does work, and that starts with improving public services (which includes police). Dems are already doing that, but it's not nearly enough.
