It is an accusation that is impossible to defend against.
Even here on this forum, anyone who says one good word about Israel risks being accused of being a shill.

It's most likely an accurate assessment. Social media management firms are routinely hired by large companies in order to manage their reputations online or to perform damage control activities. This has happened on Reddit for years.
