Why does the BLM donations page lead to a Democrat Superpac? - Politics Forum.org | PoFo

Wandering the information superhighway, he came upon the last refuge of civilization, PoFo, the only forum on the internet ...

Theories and happenings too odd for the main forums.

In this video you'll see that the BLM donation page will take you to the Democrat superpac called 'Act Blue'. This establishes a clear and categorical link between the DNC and the BLM movement. Further more, any donations that are not claimed by BLM will be allocated for the support of DNC candidates in various elections. It's unclear how many funds BLM have claimed thus far.

This is just more proof that I am a near genius, because I had already linked their movement to the Democrat party.

From the page:

"ActBlue Charities is a registered charitable organization formed to democratize charitable giving."
"ActBlue Charities is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed under the law."

501(c)(3) tax-exemptions apply to entities that are organized and operated exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes, for testing for public safety, to foster national or international amateur sports competition, for the prevention of cruelty to children, women, or animals.

So, no, it's not a "Super PAC".

Super PACs are independent expenditure-only political committees that may receive unlimited contributions from individuals, corporations, labor unions and other political action committees for the purpose of financing independent expenditures and other independent political activity. The committee will not use those funds to make contributions, whether direct, in-kind or via coordinated communications, to federal candidates or committees.

Registering as a Super PAC
Super PACs file a Statement of Organization (Form 1) to register with the FEC.
