Some negative characteristics of Russian/Soviet weapons are that they are lower quality, have unattractive designs, unattractive uniforms and clothing, and copied American engineering. The SSh helmets were based off of American helmets. The bolt action Mosin Nagant was based off of the American Winchester rifles. The PM M1910, which the Soviet Union gave to the DPRK and North Vietnam, was based off of the western Maxim gun. The TT pistols were based off of American engineer John Browning's designs. The PK's performance is very similar to the American M60.
Some positive characteristics of Russian/Soviet weapons are that they were very easy to use and operate, they were efficient, they very universal, and their designs lasted for decades. The MiG 21, the most mass produced jet as of 2019, was first produced in 1956, and was still used in the 21st century. The AK 47 was first produced in 1949, and it is one of the most common rifles used around the World. The T 54 tank inspired a lot of Soviet, Chinese, and Balkan tanks. The PPS 43 was one of the most advanced sub machine guns of the mid 20th century, in some ways, more effective than the MP 40.

As for the military uniform.. almost all countries` clothing is approximately the same, given that it consists of a jacket, pants and some boots.

British and American uniforms are ugly, and sloppy. Soviet uniforms were unattractive. Italian uniforms are not bad.
