Wealth inequality is going up in the USA. What does this mean in terms of political fallout, economic fallout and social fallout?

Americans are working all the time now often two jobs to make ends meet. Where is there time for vacations, family time with your children and living lives with a sense of balance?

What does the information in this video by Robert Reich (who served under the Clinton administration for a bit) mean to you personally? Has it played a role in your recent life decisions or future plans? It sure has made a huge decision making process for me. I made decisions based on what was happening and what the future looked like economically based on this information. Should you?

A lot of his other videos and books are worth a look, as well.

Late, the way the politicians are bought off in DC Stiglitz is not going to be implemented.

I frankly think if Clinton had followed Robert Reich's liberal mindset and pragmatic capitalism the society would have been much better off currently. But these people are not following anything pragmatic. It is crazy and inconsiderate selfish shit they are following. And it has consequences.

The U.S. is going to become more like Latin America.
And probably most Americans are too ignorant to realise what that means, or how things are different in Latin America.

Imagine a hollowing out of the middle class, where being "middle class" is simply not a sustainable way to live.
The "middle class" in many parts of Latin America, if it even exists, is very different. It would be more analogous to the very lowest part of the middle class in the U.S., probably even below what Americans think of as "working class" or "blue collar".

In Latin America, a sort of informal caste system has developed, and the more prosperous people, like upper middle class, separate themselves from the rest of society, kind of wall themselves off from the rest of society. You will see many upper middle class homes in Latin America built more like courtyards to shut out the rest of the world. Of course bars covering all the windows, to protect from possible intrusions from the outside.

It will lead to class divisions. Upper middle class families will raise their children a different way, make their children be careful who they have a family with, to try to preserve their bloodline and wealth over generations.

And there will be so much poverty, people in everyday society will give it less heed, just try to block it out from their thoughts.

For Mexico things are slowly improving with the wealth gap situation. But in many other nations in Latin America things have gotten worse.

The USA is already having the gated communities happening and there is a lot of working class homelessness because the rents and mortgages are too high for the average millennial to pay.

Mexicans do not have the super homeless issue because Mexico has a lot of squatters and relatives that let them stay with them. A relative that does not respond to a family members issues is fined by the police. They are strict with that stuff.
