America has never been all white. Making America great again has nothing to do the color of skin the people have. It has to do with power, wealth, prestige, and law and order.

Don't tell us that lie that you vote Democrat because of morality, only fools would believe you. Christians, like me, did not vote for Trump because of morality, but because of what he promised to do to make America great again. We were fed up with Obama's weak type leadership of continual apology and we certainly did not want the corruption of the Clinton's again.

Want to make America great again? Lose this wall bullshit. I remember when health care in America was about health, not profit. I remember when decent health care didn't bankrupt working Americans. Now, this will show you how old I am: In 1971 I took a job that provided as a fringe benefit full ,no small print health insurance at no charge  . that's when America was great. I don't think people even talked about "pre existing conditions". Now it's a legal gimmick to kill and bankrupt working Americans.

So what's Donald going to do about it? Build a wall so he can play Mr. Big Stuff and pass out construction contracts to his billionaire friends using our tax dollars …….

Your problem with Christians is not moral, but political.

Well mine is. And I am a practicing Christian. To be more specific, with evangelicals and fundamentalists particularly. I find their lock-step voting with republicans against the poor, the ill and the disenfranchised decidedly un-Christian.

It is disingenuous for you to try and hide behind some notion of American greatness that does not reflect what ought to be our Christian values. Sorry dude. You are behaving in about as un-Christian way as I can imagine. But don't take my word for it. Take Jesus' word for it.

But you do not care for truth, Biblical or secular. You openly support a pathological liar. You have as your sig, a quote that never happened. Why? Because lying does not bother you at all. And you do not believe Biblical truth because you support programs that are an affront to everything that Jesus stands for.

Clear enough for you. The world is full of so-called Christians who give the majority a bad name.

President's main responsibility is to provide security for America. A security barrier, like a wall, is part of making America great again. If the Democrats would cooperate Obamacare could be repealed and replaced with a great new healthcare plan for everyone. However, the Democrats only want to obstruct because they are still angry Trump beat their crying asses.

@ Drlee
It seems that being a practicing Christian to you meant voting for crooked Hillary. She is not my role-model for a Christian President. Besides her corruption, I did not like her abortion on demand policy. Is that what you call a Christian value?

Donald Trump was no worse in morality than King David of the Old Testament, who God accepted as an ancestor or Jesus. Many evangelical Christians supported Trump's election and still do. So that it appears even good Christians can disagree on politics.

President Donald Trump leaned on overwhelming support from white evangelical Christians in the 2016 election, capturing 81 percent of their vote and again affirming their conservative bent.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/pol ... 766568002/

Jerry Falwell, Jr. has celebrated Trump as a “dream president” and Franklin Graham said “God’s hand intervened” to elect him.

Eighty percent of white evangelicals voted for and, by and large, continue to support President Trump. To almost everyone else in America, this seems like a fundamental contradiction. But to Trump’s faithful, it is Providence at work in human history. They believe God is making America great again through an imperfect human agent. And like any true believers, they will not be moved.

Why evangelical Christians still support President Trump despite controversies

I found my signature on a website of sayings by Albert Einstein. So if it is a lie, it is not my fault. And if I support any program that Jesus would not support, I am not aware of it. I can agree that so-called Christians give the minority of real Christians a bad name.

Traditional Catholic morality: Say you discover a Priest is sexually abusing a child, its trivia absolute trivia. So that child's a bit fucked up? Maybe for the next seventy years of their life? What's the big deal? If you expose the priest, that could lead from people turning away from true Christianity and they could end up in hell. Its the same argument for slavery. More triva, if the transatlantic slave trade allowed Africans to get to hear the true teachings of Christianity and be saved from eternal darkness it is an overall good. Or take abortion, some Christians believe that aborted foetuses can never get to heaven, hence the fetishising of abortion, the fact that the allied bombing campaign of World War II "murdered" numerous unborn German and Japanese children is a moral complication, most Christians seem too thick to have considered..

The ancient world was a harsh place. There was continual inter ethnic or inter class genocide. When eternal heaven and hell were invented, probably by the Zarathustrians, they served psychological and social needs. Modern people have no such excuse. Fairly basic maths should tell you that introducing infinities into your moral algorithms, is going to eliminate the chances of getting any useful results out of them.

What a croc of shit. How about coming up with a law that repeals Obamacare and comes up with "a great new healthcare plan" at the same time? I doubt it. As you and Fatso Trump know well ….. talk is cheap.

Have you heard? A retired fireman passed out on his kitchen floor in 2011 and predicted that Trump would save the world. It's true. It is even in the Bible  .

I don't have time for the rest of your nonsense and blather but, hang in there Bud. You are interesting. BTW, can you lend me ten grand? I'll pay you back triple in beautiful $100 bills as soon as working Americans are presented with "a great new healthcare plan" .

Oh yeah? So the whole government shutdown is just to annoy workers? He can do what he wants without Congress then why make people's life miserable? The guy is a moron.

We are talking about the same fella? Tall guy, fake hair, a lot of orange makeup, tie long enough to cover his mushroom-shaped short penis and an inferiority complex?
No, he can't stop being a cunt.... That boat sailed about 70something years ago.

Tell us more about your belief in equality and how we should treat everyone with respect. Why is it the politically correct are the worse abusers of their own beliefs? The forum is filled with the hypocrisy.

Did I say we should treat everyone with respect? Respect is earned. He has not earned any.

Equality can be given. Respect is usually earned. They are not the same thing. It is not hypocrisy to recognize that the two are not the same thing.

Respect:
a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements.

Then you both must admit ‘treating groups’ with respect has no meaning. Respect is something individuals earn. I agree with this and have repeatedly argued it against those who promote group identity.

Treating a group with respect is not what treating all groups with equality, is about. I agree with that, but you should not be acting on the respect you have given a group, or you will be acting against that equality.

No, it is to secure our southern border against dangerous illegal activities. I did not say he can do what he wants without Congress. Compromise with Congress is the preferred method. But in a national emergency, it is legal for the President to bypass Congress. But Democrats are sure to challenge whether or not it is a true national emergency in court.

Democrat leaders late Sunday evening vowed to derail a vote on a package of pro-Israel bills despite those measures having received broad bipartisan support in previous Congresses, essentially ensuring the partial government shutdown continues.

Offcourse they will challenge that in court because it is an abuse of power. It is a bad thing to have illegal immigration, it is not a national emergency. Want proof? Illegal imigration has occurred ever since the invention of countries. The problem is actually decreasing in magnitude as far as mexico-US border is concerned... So if it was not declared a national emergency by all previous presidents prior to trump when the problem was actually at its peak, what makes you think it makes any sense what so ever to do this now?
Also... This moron likes to play with fire, he will open the pandora's box. I am sure the courts will slap him pretty hard if he tries to circumvent the legislative branch in this. After all, what makes you think he will stop at just the wall...
In the completely idiotic and bizzarro world that he would be successful at this... how would you like it when the next president of the US declares healthcare disparities or on wealth inequalities... a national emergency as to pump resources into socialist healthcare and money re-distribution. You see? you dumb people have not thought about the ramifications of abuse/reach of power.
