That is kind of week my good friend what constitutes full battle dress? I don't see anything condemning.

When you say we are in for 17 months of lies hatred and violence who are talking about?

In the "Fair And Balanced Department" :

The anti-Trump protest featured picket signs, chants of “not my dictator” and “impeach him now,” and a special guest—a 30-foot inflatable balloon depicting Trump in a diaper. The balloon, previously seen at protests of the President’s events in the U.K. and Ireland, was shipped to Orlando after a local crowdfunding campaign raised $5000 to transport the balloon.

As the protest began, around 20 members of the white supremacist group Proud Boys ^ shouted at protesters, but were denied entry to the block by police. Over a hundred protestors gathered across the police line from the Proud Boys, most of them holding signs silently. The standoff lasted for over an hour.

Trump spoke for almost an hour and a half, and well before then some people began to trickle out. It would be unwise to read too much into the early departures – it was a long, hot day all round – but for a president whose strength comes from personal magnetism, seeing people leave early isn’t a great sign.

Weak. I didn't condemn anything.

Did I say that? Whatever was I thinking?

How's the weather down there? 60 degrees here. It must be nice not to have all the roads clogged up with old farts like me.

You use the term Gestapo as a term of endearment? :D

This just makes me more convinced that I must vote for Trump in 2020.

Oh Lordy folks, it's like a bad repeat of 2016... The Liberals are going to get a tremendous beat down in the upcoming 2020 US Presidential election, and all they can do is double down on their stupidity caused by ideological blindness and a personal aversion not only to Donald Trump but also to the people who voted for him.

Couldn't happen to better people, in my opinion. Trump's in their head, just as he's planned on being from day one, the master of their destinies, the person they think about constantly-or rather, the persona he plays on TV and is so helpfully aided in by the MSM.

It's absolutely hilarious.

First the Democratic National Committee will not allow primary debates on FOX News and now this from the South Carolina DNC.
Fox, CNN, C-SPAN barred from live coverage of South Carolina 2020 convention

Thank god we have 2 senators from every state and an electoral college. The Democrats are embarrassing they can't win at anything unless they cheat or try to rig the system.

In 2020, the Democrats are going to beat themselves.

With extremely rare exceptions, every time I hear a Democrat speak it has to do with Trump. They criticize Trump at every turn. Of course I understand that they'll do that. But their problem is they're saying nothing else. The Democratic platform seems to be nothing more than "We're not Trump", and that's not going to be enough.

People vote with their wallets. Our economy is smokin' right now, and unemployment is at record lows. People have jobs and money to spend (or save). Companies are choosing to stay here and those which have migrated outside our borders are coming back.

Life is good in the United States right now, and voters aren't going to want to change that.

"We're not Trump" isn't a viable campaign platform, but it seems to be the only platform the Democrats seem all too interested in...

Ha! You got me. Morons wearing American flags beating the shit out of folks who have a different opinion strikes me as kinda Gestapo like.

How's the Cape Coral building boom going? I believe you work in property management. This must help you. I have seen house/condo prices more than double in the past few years.

The only thing you can see on Youtube of the Proud Boys is them kicking the shit out of the pussy Antifa cowards who start shit and run away. More gaslighting.

not in property management but I think the real estate is range bound it can be profitable but more like base hits than home runs anymore. Condos maybe... I'm not sure I was always worried about the association fees and financial viability.

We will be hearing a lot of hysteria concerning any taxpayer financed effort at compassion for victims of predatory capitalism as a return of the Communist scourge. Those who get their information and values from "talk shows" and politicians will be whipped into a righteous frenzy at the thought of slightest hint of taxpayer financed compassion …………… however socialism for billionaires in the form of special tax cuts/breaks or, my favorite: Medicare is legally required to cover nearly all drugs approved by the Food and Drug Administration at whatever price the drug maker sets — direct, collective negotiation is prohibited. For Obese Donald's beloved "uneducated" this means that capitalism is actually against the law when dealing with Big Pharma billionaires. A helping hand for America's 500,000 homeless? SOCIALISM … LET THE LAZY BUMS GET A JOB. Rigging the rules so that taxpayers must finance billions for Big Pharma billionaires ….. Don't worry it's all going to "trickle down" as these good hearted souls fulfill their civic duty.

If you are an illegal alien, an illegal alien exploiter, a debt-riddled college student with a worthless degree in Women's Studies or something, perhaps.

It's still over a year to November 2020, but it's really starting to look that way. Unlike 2016, the 2020 race will have the Democrats running the most left wing they have run since '68 and '72. Most of their effort is to appeal to illegal aliens, debt-riddled millennials, and leftist minorities who prefer welfare to work.

annatar1914 wrote:It's absolutely hilarious.

I find it kind of bewildering in the sense that they are doing nothing to address why they lost in 2016.

Finfinder wrote:First the Democratic National Committee will not allow primary debates on FOX News and now this from the South Carolina DNC.

This seems like a mistake to me. Why don't they want live coverage? Maybe they are anticipating a 1968 Chicago-style fiasco?

BigSteve wrote:But their problem is they're saying nothing else. The Democratic platform seems to be nothing more than "We're not Trump", and that's not going to be enough.

I'm hearing rather more extreme positions like:

- Green New Deal
- Student Loan Forgiveness
- Eliminating ICE
- Decriminalizing Illegal Immigration
- Wealth Taxes
- Eliminating Private Health Insurance and Replacing it with Medicare

Almost everything they are saying is obviously not feasible and is essentially screaming, "We will not do anything for blue-collar workers."

BigSteve wrote:People vote with their wallets. Our economy is smokin' right now, and unemployment is at record lows.

That's how it's really looking. Trump hasn't been successful on a repeal of ObamaCare and on building the wall. However, he has stimulated the economy to the point that jobs and low unemployment are an issue he can win on rather easily.

jimjam wrote:Medicare is legally required to cover nearly all drugs approved by the Food and Drug Administration at whatever price the drug maker sets — direct, collective negotiation is prohibited.

I thought you loved Lyndon Johnson? The US cannot have socialized medicine until this fascist policy is removed.

jimjam wrote:For Obese Donald's beloved "uneducated" this means that capitalism is actually against the law when dealing with Big Pharma billionaires.

Trump actually ran against big pharma. He hasn't done too much to them yet, but he's still talking about it.

jimjam wrote:A helping hand for America's 500,000 homeless?

Generally, the US will have to get serious about helping the drug addicted. That means more halfway houses, sober living facilities, etc. It will definitely not mean just giving away housing. It will also involve doing something about letting the mentally ill run loose, which was popularized in the 1970s.

From what I hear from people so far, the Democratic Party side's viable candidates look like:

1. Joe Biden
2. Kamala Harris
3. Pete Buttigieg

We still have a pretty long way to go to narrow down the field, and someone from the pack could still come from behind. We'll just have to wait and see. The most viable person to win back white working class voters is Biden. Harris will lose them for sure. Pete "Booty Judge" Buttigieg will alienate evangelicals. It will certainly be interesting.

My prediction? People are tired of hearing Trump tweets over stupidity and will follow anyone willing to do something different and who continues to take the USA down the drain. No one has the will to actually change the system that is causing the problems. So? USA goes down the drain as a superpower and China and others fill the vacuum. It is done. Finito.

Trump has done something different and he has changed the system. How? Well, for starters, he's not beholden to anyone. He's made it clear that the Republican Party cannot control him. That's unheard of in Washington politics, regardless of the party.

As Eric Trump once put it: "My father doesn't need this job. Not even a little bit."

Remember, Trump wasn't supposed to win. He wasn't even supposed to be a serious candidate. But he ended up with the nomination because he didn't represent everything bad about Washington. He ended up running against the person Obama characterized as the most qualified person to ever seek the office. But Clinton's problem was that the American people grew weary of the bullshit coming out of the Obama White House, and they didn't want more of that bullshit to spew from a Clinton White House.

Donald Trump didn't win because of who he is, but because of who he isn't...
