I don't know how many times I've had to say this over the years, but if a person isn't advocating the public ownership of the primary means of production (Capital) in a society, then they are not a Socialist, they're something else politically. Almost everyone who says otherwise is an American, on the Right but also on the faux ''Left'', not quite sure why but it remains a brazen blot of ignorance in many otherwise intelligent human beings.

That is just a formality for judicial processes that apparently is not followed strictly in political procedures, like impeachments. Otherwise, President Trump would not have been impeached on hearsay testimony. It is already obvious to everyone that President Trump was unfairly impeached by partisan Democrats and that he will be found not guilty by partisan Republicans.

They can't explain how the government is going to literally take over the healcare industry and force people to use plans and doctors they do not want. It escapes them that of course people would love health care to be more affordable and even free but that reality is a complete pipe dream or they would be able to explain these policies. All they have is virtue signaling to those who ask these basic questions.

With all due respect, if My Friend can rephrase the idea like the following it will be much more realistic and reasonable:

Sanders' beliefs will never be accepted by the likes of me. Most people I meet or know, as well as myself, believe what he believes or wants are fuckin' lunatic, so he is never going to be elected. Besides, we are concerned with his health -- as far as I know he has a cardiac problem.

I can see My Friend wants to be efficient, and tries to convey the same idea with a much shorter sentence, but directing the attack on the person itself is by definition bad temper.

Even poor Costa Rica has national health care, lots of poor countries do.

20% of health care dollars get pissed away doing paperwork.

No one is sure how much we can save on drug costs, if the country was able to negotiate the way so many other countries do. It would be a lot, but because drug companies are constantly raising prices, it's a moving target.

It also wouldn't kill insurance, since supplemental insurance plans already exist, if you want more coverage.

The problem is that health care reform is seriously complicated, and most are just like you.

They don't pay attention.
