Welcome to the real world. Since this is your first day, let me point out there are limits and laws we have to work within.

Sorry, your magic fairy dust doesn't work here.

Steve, you do recall the Access Hollywood video tape where Trump talks about committing sexual assault ,right? I mean, most Americans know about this tape and it's common knowledge. Is it really necessary for me to post it up to you? It's pretty easy to google up yourself. Come on man. This is the guy you chose to represent you. I wouldn't want that kind of person representing me, I'll tell you that right now. And if you think Trump was just making a "tongue and cheek" comment when he said "we should give it a try" here in the US talking about him being dictator of this country then you are terribly blind and perhaps naive.

He meant what he said and he used the suggestions several times to sort of try to get people used to the idea of him as being dictator so he won't face as much resistance to his power grab. Besides, anybody who occupies the White House knows they shouldn't even be joking or making such "tougue and cheek" comments like that anyway even if they don't mean it.

But I know Trump meant what he said and that he wants absolute, total power and to be above the law and unaccountable to anybody or anything or any entity. He already thinks he is above the law and can do whatever he wants. He is a very dangerous person and a danger to this republic and this country and that is the unvarnished, cold hard truth.

Many dictators have his psychological make up, like Fidel Castro, Joseph Stalin or Adolf Hitler. Now you either value our republic or you value a dictatorship that seeks to completely destroy our republic. There is no grey area here in this choice. If you choose Trump then you simply don't value our republic at all and value turning this country into a full fledged dictatorship and are OK with having a tyrant in office with unchecked total and absolute power and is accountable to nobody.

Trump has attacked our people, our veterans who gave unselfishly, our republic and is using public office to enrich himself, his family and his private businesses. Yet nothing happens to him. He has accomplices. All dictatorships require accomplices to come to power and you are also one of his accomplices as well. Don't tell me you value our republic while you support Trump because it's simply not true. You are lying to yourself and you are lying to everybody else here if you say you do yet continue to support Trump because it just doesn't add up despite any bullshit denials or attacks you try to spew.

I know there was an audio recording of it. I honestly was unaware that there was video.

Also, your dramatic histrionics about a "dictatorship", while amusing, are pretty ridiculous. Don't worry your cute little head. He'll leave the White House peacefully on January 20, 2025...

1) What planet are you on?

2) Autocrat would be a more accurate choice, but either way, we are prob watching the death of democracy. Watergate was Nixon using intelligence methods to attack Democrats. This is hardly a new thing for Republicans, but this time there aren't any Republicans with a sense of decency.

Project much?

"Put simply, the leader of the world’s most powerful nation is behaving like an authoritarian dictator, one who threatens democracy in his own country and far beyond...

Another image framed this split-screen 4 July: that of the children, separated from their parents, who are caged in detention camps on America’s southern border. Accounts by lawyers and doctors who were allowed brief visits to these hellish places are almost unbearable to read: children deprived of sleep, denied access to blankets or mattresses, not allowed to wash their hands or brush their teeth; toddlers left alone on cold, hard floors, so traumatised they sit in stunned, tearless silence.

This too is what dictators do: demonising a group – in this case, migrants – as an alien threat, an army of invaders, so intensely and for so long that eventually any fate, no matter how brutal or inhumane, seems deserved, even when it is inflicted on that group’s youngest and most vulnerable members. Breaking up families, caging children in hot, fetid, disease-ridden camps – this is what dictators do.

Draw up a checklist of the semiotics of dictatorship and Trump ticks every one. He muses out loud about being president for life, saying it would be “great”. He’s indicated often that he would not accept the outcome of an election he lost. He’s threatened to jail his political opponents. He has the despot’s attitude to the truth – lying routinely, even about trivial matters, partly to demonstrate power."

@BigSteve

See by buddying with authortarian dictators, Trump is helping authoritarian dictators everywhere like Vladimir Putin and North Korea's Kim Jung Un. These authoritarian leaders do not make the world a better place. Your goal should be to help make the world a better place. Truth is Trump wants to be one of them which is what makes him dangerous and a threat to our own republic. I'm not trying to pick on you man. I'm just trying to state my position and why I feel the way I do.

Pants-of-dog wrote:How many companies have been prosecuted for hiring undocumented workers since Trump took office?

Not sure of the total number, but there definitely have been some.

Probably the largest was Asplundh Tree Experts. The Pennsylvania-based company pleaded guilty in 2017 and paid $95 million, the largest fine ever levied by ICE, for employing undocumented workers.

It's been argued that going after individuals within the offending companies is the better way to go, though, as it doesn't hurt those within the company who played no role in the hiring of illegals.

For example, in 2017, James Brantley of Tennessee pleaded guilty to multiple charges including employing undocumented workers at his slaughterhouse and meatpacking plant. In July he was sentenced to 18 months in prison and fined over $1.5 million. He knowingly employed illegals for over 20 years.

Personally, I don't feel either of those judgements was severe enough...

I answered your question when I said "Not sure of the total number".

If you say so. Do not care.

Anyway, since Trump has not charged any companies with hiring undocumented workers between April 2018 and March 2019, we can argue that Republicans want undocumented workers.

Of course this has been argued. It allows the company to keep its slave labor and escape punishment while some petty functionary has his/her life ruined. That's the republican plan alright.

FBI arrest former Canadian reservist, suspected neo-Nazi, in United States

OTTAWA -- A former Canadian Forces engineer who disappeared after he was accused of being a neo-Nazi has been arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation on firearms charges and appeared in a United States courtroom on Thursday.

The arrest and court appearance were the first public signs of Patrik Mathews since he disappeared at the end of August amid allegations of having been a recruiter for the right-wing hate group called The Base.

Dressed in a brown T-shirt and camouflage cargo pants and sporting a heavy beard, Mathews was asked by Judge Charles Day in a U.S. District Court in a Maryland suburb of Washington if he understood the charges against him.

Those charges include one count of transporting a firearm and ammunition with intent to commit a felony and one charge of being an alien in possession of a firearm and ammunition. Each charge carries a maximum of 10 years in prison, three years of probation and a $250,000 fine.

"Understood," Mathews replied simply. He offered the same reply when informed of his rights by the judge.

Mathews was arrested along with two other men: Brian Mark Lemley, 33, and 19-year-old William Garfield Bilbrough IV. Both are U.S. citizens and also appeared in court.

Bail hearings have been set for Wednesday, when prosecutors are expected to ask that Mathews remain behind bars.

Mystery had surrounded Mathews's whereabouts since he disappeared in August amid allegations of being a neo-Nazi.

At the time, Mathews was a combat engineer with the 38 Canadian Brigade Group in Winnipeg, though the military said then it was investigating his alleged links to The Base and fast-tracking his request to be released from the Canadian Armed Forces.

The RCMP were also reportedly conducting their own investigation, though the Mounties have not confirmed the report. They had previously seized a number of weapons from a house in Beausejour, Man., about 60 kilometres east of Winnipeg, where Mathews lived.

Shortly after he disappeared, Mathews's truck was found abandoned on a rural property in southern Manitoba near the U.S. border. The RCMP said it was treating his disappearance as a missing-person case.

In a statement Thursday, the RCMP said it was aware of Mathews's arrest but would not comment on an investigation in another country.

The charges against Mathews were laid out in a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Maryland on Thursday, which alleges Mathews crossed illegally from Manitoba to Minnesota on Aug. 19.

CTV News has obtained a copy of the FBI affidavit filed in the United States District Court over the arrest of Mathews.

Mathews is alleged to have made his way to Michigan. Prosecutors say on Aug. 30, Lemley and Bilbrough, who are also described as members of The Base, picked him up and took him to Maryland. Lemley previously served in the U.S. Army.

On Nov. 3, according to the allegations, the three men drove from Virginia to Maryland, where Bilbrough lived. Lemley and Mathews eventually continued to Delaware, "where Lemley rented an apartment in which the two have resided since that time."

Lemley and Mathews are then alleged to have assembled "a functioning assault rifle" from parts in December, and all three are accused of having made a psychedelic drug known as DMT.

"Furthermore, Lemley, Mathews and Bilbrough discussed The Base's activities and spoke about other members of the organization," according to the prosecutors. "Mathews also allegedly showed the assault rifle to Bilbrough, who examined the assault rife and returned it to Mathews."

The U.S. Attorney goes on to allege that Lemley and Mathews bought 1,650 rounds of ammunition earlier this month and then "travelled from Delaware to a gun range in Maryland, where they shot the assault rifle" and retrieved a bulletproof vest.

Both Lemley and Bilbrough face charges for transporting and harbouring Mathews, while Lemley is charged with transporting a machine gun in interstate commerce and for providing a firearm and ammunition to Mathews and transporting a firearm with the intent to commit a felony.

The statement alleges that "within The Base's encrypted chat rooms, members have discussed, among other things, recruitment, creating a white ethno-state, committing acts of violence against minority communities (including African-Americans and Jewish-Americans), the organization's military-style training camps, and ways to make improvised explosive devices."

In court Thursday, assistant U.S. attorney Tom Windom, the lead prosecutor, showed grainy, stylized photos that he said showed Bilbrough and other Base members lined up, firing-squad style, aiming firearms down range.

Windom said Bilbrough discussed a desire to fight with nationalists un Ukraine and had compared the group to al-Qaida -- whose name means "The Base" in Arabic.

The prosecutor also said Bilbrough and Mathews smashed their mobile phones and dumped the pieces in a toilet when federal agents showed up.

After the hearing, lawyer Robert Bonsib, representing Bilbrough, rejected Windom's argument that his client poses a flight risk.

"I didn't hear him say my client had a passport, I didn't hear him say that he's ever travelled internationally -- all he's ever done is travel to a couple of states in the United States," Bonsib said. "I think this 19-year-old young man should be released."

The New York Times reported the three men had talked about travelling to a pro-gun rally next week in nearby Virginia. The rally coincides with Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the U.S., which commemorates the assassinated civil-rights activist.

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam said in a tweet Wednesday there was credible intelligence from law-enforcement agencies of threats of violence surrounding the pro-gun demonstration planned for Monday.

In Canada, the accusations against Mathews in August and his disappearance put a spotlight on concerns that right-wing extremists have been trying to infiltrate the Canadian Armed Forces.

Several sailors associated with the far-right Proud Boys group disrupted a Mi'kmaq ceremony in Halifax in 2017. A military-intelligence report in 2018 said 30 active service members belonged to hate groups or had made racist statements.

The report also revealed some extremist groups have encouraged their members to seek military training and recruit service members.

And some more examples of the human cost of the Left's obsession with open borders and zero deportations:

Illegal Alien Captured After Allegedly Raping 6-Year-Old Girl a Decade Ago

An illegal alien has been arrested by law enforcement officials nearly a decade after he allegedly raped a six-year-old girl.

Illegal alien Juan Carlos Hernandez, according to police, allegedly raped a six-year-old girl in March 2011 in Delaware where he had been living. Law enforcement officials were not aware of the alleged rape until October 2018 when the victim told a school therapist about the assault.

Nearly a decade after the alleged rape of the child, Hernandez was tracked down by police in Beaufort County, South Carolina, where he had fled. He was arrested by officers with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Now, the illegal alien is facing extradition to Delaware to face charges for second-degree rape of a minor. If convicted, Hernandez faces at least ten years and up to 25 years in prison.

Illegal Alien Accused of Sexually Assaulting Fourth-Grade Girl

An illegal alien has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a fourth-grade girl in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Carlos Bartolo Rios, a 29-year-old illegal alien, was arrested last month on first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a child after a fourth-grade girl accused him of sexually assaulting her between February and June of 2019.

Rios, according to the girl, sexually assaulted her and showed her “nasty sex videos” before telling her not to tell anyone.

Days after being booked into the Charleston County Detention Center, Rios was detained by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.

“This case is an excellent example of ICE’s ongoing focus to prioritize its immigration enforcement efforts toward unlawfully present foreign nationals who pose a clear threat to public safety,” an ICE official told WCBD.

“Despite attempts by some to confuse the public, ICE does not conduct any type of random or indiscriminate enforcement and the agency’s targeted enforcement efforts make communities safer for all persons whatever their immigration status may be,” the ICE official said.

Rios now faces a minimum of 25 years in prison.

Illegal Alien Accused of Sexually Abusing 13-Year-Old Girl in Maryland

An illegal alien, known locally for driving a church van, has been accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl and being in possession of child pornography in the state of Maryland.

Jose Argueta, a 44-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador, was arrested by the Annapolis Police Department after he allegedly sexually abused a 13-year-old girl on four separate occasions and allegedly took sexually explicit photos of the child.

According to Annapolis Sgt. Amy Miguez, the illegal alien drove a church van that transported the victim and her family to their Glen Burnie, Maryland, church.

“That’s how [the victim] first met him,” Miguez told local media.

“It was obvious that there was a lot of information confirming that this had happened and also photographs, unfortunately, pornographic images of this child,” Miguez said.

Argueta has been charged with 19 counts of sexual abuse of a child and child pornography. A judge has denied Argueta bail and he is currently being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials have asked that Argueta be turned over to them for arrest and deportation should he be released at any time from police custody.

Exclusive: Illegal Alien Charged with Murdering 92-Year-Old New York Woman Overstayed His Visa

An illegal alien charged with sexually assaulting and murdering a 92-year-old woman in Queens, New York, remained in the United States for years after overstaying his visa, Breitbart News has exclusively learned.

Reeaz Khan, a 21-year-old illegal alien from Guyana, is set to face a grand jury after being arrested and charged last week with sexually assaulting and murdering 92-year-old Maria Fuertes by strangling her to death on a sidewalk in Richmond Hill, Queens.

Fuertes, residents told the New York Post, was a beloved and “lovely lady” of the community who was known for feeding neighborhood cats and collecting cans.

A law enforcement official exclusively confirmed to Breitbart News that Khan first came to the U.S. in May 2016 on a B-2 visa — the temporary nonimmigrant visa granted to foreign nationals who arrive as tourists for a short period of time.

Despite Khan having supposed to left the U.S. months later, the Guyanese national remained in the country as a visa overstay. Khan currently holds no immigration status, thus making him an illegal alien, as his B-2 visa expired three years ago.

At this initial interview with New York City detectives, Khan claimed to have “fell down, his belt broke, his pants fell down and his penis fell near [Fuertes’] vagina” and later admitted that “he did lift up [Fuertes’] skirt and … tried to put his penis inside of her.”

Khan was shielded from deportation, despite overstaying his visa, by New York state’s sanctuary policy that protects criminal illegal aliens from arrested and deportation by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.

On November 27, the New York Police Department (NYPD) charged Khan with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. ICE agents filed a request that Khan be turned over to them for arrest should he be released from NYPD custody. That request, though, was ignored and police freed him back into the general public.

Less than two months later, Khan allegedly murdered Fuertes.

“It is made clear that New York City’s stance against honoring detainers is dangerously flawed,” ICE official Thomas Decker said in a statement. “It was a deadly choice to release a man on an active ICE detainer back onto the streets after his first arrest included assault and weapon charges, and he now faces new charges, including murder.”

Khan has been charged with second-degree murder, second-degree assault, sexual abuse, sexual abuse of a person incapable of consent, depraved indifference, and contact by forcible compulsion. He is being held in a New York City jail without bail.

Within the last year, New York City officials likely freed about 3,000 criminal illegal aliens back into the general public, Breitbart News reported.

The last isn't being swept under the rug quite as easily as others:

NYPD Union Leader and ICE Blast de Blasio: Police 'Hate' Sanctuary Cities

Mayor Bill de Blasio is taking major heat from NYPD union leader Vincent Vallelonga, vice president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association, who put the mayor on blast for allowing the catch-and-release of illegal aliens in violation of federal law. Tempers boiled over when an illegal alien who was released from police custody in November allegedly raped and murdered a 92-year-old woman, Maria Fuertes.

"The mayor can say what he wants to say -- he owns this," Vallelonga said. "He should step up and say these are his policies, he owns it.”

    Fox reported:

Reeaz Khan, an illegal Guyanese immigrant, is accused of attacking Fuertes as she walked home on Jan. 6. Fuertes was reportedly found at 2 a.m. in 32-degree weather and near death on a sidewalk with her clothes pulled above her waist. She was taken to a hospital, where she died from injuries that included a broken spine, according to The New York Post. The Post cited law enforcement sources who said she had been sexually assaulted and strangled.

ICE was supposed to have been notified if he was released from police custody because it had issued a detainer on Khan. But NYPD had to follow de Blasio's sanctuary policies and ignore the detainer ICE requested in November after Kahn was detained in a stabbing incident. As a result, Khan was free to offend again.

Vallelonga says police want to help ICE, not stand in their way. “I can guarantee you every single one of our members wants to help them out, unfortunately, the way the policies are set up, they don't allow us to,” he said. “How do we have our own hands handcuffed to not be able to work with these guys?

(ICE) Acting Director Matthew Albence attended the press conference in New York and spoke about the intense frustration he has heard from police. He told reporters that police "hate" sanctuary laws that keep them from doing their jobs.

"Go ask the line cops in any jurisdiction -- they hate these things, and I’ve talked to many,” he said. “A lot of these guys are repeat offenders, they are violent offenders and these cops are out there day after day putting their lives on the line and it’s got to be incredibly frustrating for them to arrest these guys, knowing they're here illegally, knowing that ICE could get them off the streets and three weeks later they're arresting them again for a more dangerous crime or a more heinous crime.”

Albence cited statistics saying that last year ICE lodged 7,526 detainers via its New York field office. Those individuals accounted for 17,873 criminal convictions and 6,500 criminal charges. Those charges and convictions include over 200 homicides, over 500 robberies, over 1,000 sexual offenses, over 1,000 weapons offenses and over 3,500 assaults. Only 10 detainers were honored.

Albence ripped the city for initially denying that a detainer was issued. This prompted ICE to post a copy of it online, shaming the mayor's office.

“If you’re going to have a sanctuary city policy and you know it's going to result in people going back out to the street and committing more crimes, at least own it, at least stand up and say 'yeah that’s our policy,'” he said. “Own it, don't sit there and try to push the blame onto someone else -- it’s disgusting.”

In response to criticism, the mayor tweeted tone-deaf platitudes about how safe New York is.

The last time crime was as low in New York City as it is right now, the Dodgers were in Brooklyn and your boss was in Queens — and in diapers. If you’re serious about keeping our country safe, quit spreading lies about the good work of the NYPD.

And for a look at the actual statistics of the cost of New York state's sanctuary policy:

New York Freed 7.5K Criminal Illegal Aliens into U.S. in 2019, Including Convicted Murderers, Sex Abusers

The sanctuary state of New York released more than 7,500 criminal illegal aliens back into communities last year, including convicted murderers and sexual abusers, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials confirmed Friday.

During a press conference, Acting ICE Director Matthew Albence revealed that in 2019, law enforcement officers in New York released roughly 7,516 criminal illegal aliens back into communities despite criminal convictions and charges against them.

In all of those cases, ICE agents asked that these criminal illegal aliens be turned over to them for arrest and deportation. Due to the state’s sanctuary policy, though, all were released. Albence said New York only turned over to ICE about ten criminal illegal aliens last year.

Altogether, these more than 7,500 criminal illegal aliens released back into New York communities had a total of 17,873 criminal convictions and 6,500 criminal charges against them. This includes criminal illegal aliens who have been convicted or charged with:

    • 200 homicides
    • More than 1,000 sexual offenses
    • More than 500 robberies
    • More than 3,500 assaults
    • More than 1,500 DUIs
    • More than 1,000 weapons violations

“The only immigrants protected by such policies are those committing violent and dangerous offenses, often in the same communities that these politicians are purporting to protect,” Albence said during the press conference.

Albence also debunked sanctuary politicians’ claims that ICE can simply obtain a judicial warrant if they want a criminal illegal alien turned over to them. The issue, Albence said, is that it is impossible under federal law for a federal judge to grant a judicial warrant to ICE because it is not in their authority.

In the recent case of 92-year-old Maria Fuertes, who was allegedly murdered by an illegal alien on January 6 in a brutal attack and sexual assault, the suspect had been arrested by the New York Police Department (NYPD) two months prior. Despite ICE’s request that he be turned over to them, the NYPD released him from custody.

As Breitbart News exclusively reported, the illegal alien charged in Fuertes’ murder, Reeaz Khan, had arrived in the United States in May 2016 on a B-2 tourist visa but never left — thus remaining in the country for three years as an illegal alien.

“These are preventable crimes, people, and more importantly, preventable victims,” Albence said.

And a bit on the lengths undocumented aliens go to to stay in the US:

Illegal Alien Pleads Guilty to Securing Visas for Fake Crime Victims

An illegal alien has pleaded guilty to helping fraudulently secure visas for illegal aliens who falsely claimed to be crime victims.

Yuridia Hernandez Linares, a 36-years-old foreign national, pleaded guilty to operating a business that helped secure U visas for illegal aliens who fraudulently claimed they were the victims of violent crimes.

In the guilty plea, Linares admitted that she fraudulently obtained a U visa in 2016 after contacting the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office in 2015 to report a violent crime against her that had never occurred. Linares and a friend allegedly cut themselves with box cutters and claimed they were robbed by two men with knives.

As part of her business operation, Linares would charge illegal aliens between $2,000 to $5,000 to fraudulently secure them U visas. Linares would cut the illegal aliens with box cutters, then have them report to the police that they were the victims of violent crimes.

Linares is in Heppenin County custody and faces up to ten years in prison and a $20,000 fine. Her sentencing hearing is set for January 30.

Last year, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) detailed potential widespread abuse of the U visa program spurred by a provision in the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) in which more than 2,200 cases of potential fraud by foreign nationals have been detected since 2013, Breitbart News reported.

In fiscal year 2014, there were fewer than 200 cases of potential fraud in the U visa program. By fiscal year 2019, the number of potential fraud cases had increased to more than 800 — a 305 percent jump in six years.

Are you still making that claim? The last time you tried to give an example of Breitbart lying, it turned out the reporting was a spot-on example of how reporting is supposed to be done.
