Considering the lamentable state the Democrats are in, the coronavirus is now our only hope for getting rid of Trump. Even if the pandemic were to abate during the summer, it's bound to be back by November to instill fear in the people since its bound to became endemic.
Still no health insurance for millions of Americans, Trump having cut health budgets and even the CDC budget, the belated response to the epidemic by the Trump administration, the economic downturn ... all of this condemns Trump to certain failure.
There is no way he can win with the virus ravaging the country. A couple of weeks ago, one of his top economic advisers, was it Kudlow?, said that the virus would damage China and benefit the US. That's how fast things can change.
The Democrats need to focus on presenting better methods for fighting the epidemic and providing health care. That's the winning ticket. So far, they don't seem to understand that. What a bunch of maroons. I think I should run for president. I'll promise a change to the imperial presidency

“You’re kind of dealing with a government that doesn’t care about government, and then overlay your normal bumbling incompetence onto the possibility of a global pandemic,” Sen. Brian Schatz of Hawaii said on MSNBC this week. “To the extent that we’ve been fortunate with this disease, it’s because of the epidemiology of the disease, not because of some sort of coordinated response.”
