I don't know who taught you what BJ. You are a grown man probably born in 1968. I have no idea of your parents' political beliefs or influences? Have you read Borges? Jorge Luis Borges? The great Argentinean writer? He is a favorite of Potemkin's and of my husband too. One of the greatest writers who ever lived. He was accused of not liking Black people once. But the truth of the matter was that Borges' did not like the the human species. He said, "Basta que sea un ser humano para que no me guste." There is a lot of diversity in Latin America. It doesn't surprise me. Vicente Guerrero was a Black Mexican that helped liberate Mexico from Spain. A great Mexican patriot.
