Now we talking. I hooked up with a hot Asian girl in a Portland strip club once. I don't give a shit and don't judge me. Bar fights kinda suck but shit happens. I've had more than a few. I have scars to prove it. Hope you kicked some ass.

Antifa is an anti-fascist and left-wing political movement in the United States comprising an array of autonomous groups that aim to achieve their objectives through the use of both nonviolent and violent direct action rather than through policy reform. Described as a highly decentralized movement, antifa political activists are anti-racists who engage in protest tactics, seeking to combat fascists and racists such as neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other far-right extremists. This may involve digital activism, harassment, physical violence and property damage against those whom they identify as belonging to the far-right.

Individuals involved in the movement tend to hold anti-authoritarian, anti-capitalist, anti-fascist and anti-state views, subscribing to a range of left-wing ideologies such as anarchism, communism, Marxism, social democracy and socialism.

Soros & Steyer exposed as backers of ‘paramilitary’ left-wing group in undercover Project Veritas VIDEO

As part of its series of undercover videos exposing left-wing organizations like Antifa, Project Veritas released footage claiming to show far-left Democrat activists bragging about George Soros funding and political connections.

HUGE-Former BLM leader spills the beans on who’s funding BLM and ANTIFA

– claims BLM was infiltrated and taken over from within
– claims BLM and ANITFA are funded by Rothschild, Clinton and Soros
– claims there is agenda to create a civil war and that media and celebrities are being used to further it
– claims they are making people decide already what ‘side’ they will be on via media hype

Report: Hillary Clinton Gave $800K To Fund Antifa Groups

Clinton’s PAC, Onward Together, openly partners with five left-wing political groups: Indivisible, Swing Left, Color of Change, Emerge America, and Run for Something, all of which have ties to antifa.

According to FEC filings, Clinton transferred $800,000 from her failed presidential campaign to Onward Together shortly before announcing the creation of the PAC in May.

Alliance for Global Justice (AFGJ)

AFGJ is funded by a number of center-left foundations, including liberal billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, Tides Foundation, Arca Foundation, Surdna Foundation, Public Welfare Foundation, and the Brightwater Fund. The group provides “fiscal sponsorship” to groups advocating numerous foreign and domestic far-left and extreme-left causes, including eliminating the State of Israel, supporting convicted violent leftist extremists, and advancing various labor union efforts.

In the 2010s, AFGJ was a fiscal sponsor of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Alliance for Global Justice and people associated with the organization have advocated for socialist and Communist authoritarian regimes since its founding. The group is an advocate for the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (known by the acronym ALBA), a Venezuelan- and Cuban-led trading bloc of leftist-led countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Alliance for Global Justice has advocated on behalf of more open relations between the United States and the Communist-controlled Cuban government and endorsed Cuban regime propaganda.

Alliance for Global Justice is a staunch advocate of the Venezuelan socialist regime of Nicolas Maduro, which unilaterally and extra-constitutionally abolished its opposition-controlled legislature in favor of a rubber-stamp “Constitutional Assembly.” AFGJ has operated a “Venezuela Solidarity Campaign” to rally support for the Maduro regime.

In May 2017, AFGJ co-sponsored demonstrations at the Organization of American States building in Washington, D.C. demanding the U.S. not interfere with Maduro’s government.

As of 2016, Alliance for Global Justice was a fiscal sponsor of nine pro-Palestinian and anti-Israeli groups. At least one, the “One Democratic State Group,” openly calls for the abolition of Israel as a national home for the Jewish people. Other organizations AFGJ has supported have facilitated violent demonstrations.

Refuse Fascism is a project fiscally sponsored by Alliance for Global Justice that seeks the overthrow of President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, asserting that the Trump administration functions as a “fascist regime.” The group has been associated with organizing demonstrations against President Trump’s inauguration as part of the “Disrupt J20” movement, orchestrating demonstrations against right-wing provocateur Milo Yiannopolous which devolved into rioting, and planning marches and occupations to last until President Trump and Vice President Pence leave office.

Crantag wrote:I don't know if he was high, no way the cops would know, he was likely high on weed, we smoke a lot of weed in this part of the world.

I was suggesting it may have affected your friend's judgment. The police don't know. If you drive a car toward them when they are on foot after they've chased you and you've stopped, they will shoot you.

Crantag wrote:You will obviously defend the cops. Do you defend them sticking me up the other day? If so what is your rationale there?

I'm not always sure of your whereabouts. Somehow, I got the idea you were in China. I'm not sure why they had you with hands up. Generally, they are looking for someone they are fearful of--and as I said, a lot of the younger cops are former military and have had the house-to-house experience in Iraq and Afghanistan, so they are hypervigilant. Did they evacuate everyone and expect you were a looter? I just don't know much about the circumstance from what you told me.

A grade school buddy's daughter was a field training officer in Sacramento, and was shot and killed at 26 years old--six months on the job. She was out on a domestic violence call. It can be very dangerous work. I'd expect the LA Sheriffs and LAPD to be pretty vigilant right about now.

Sivad wrote:Dude was whacked out of his mind on pcp spitting on cops and he got restrained for a couple minutes, that's it.

Yeah. People on PCP go completely fucking nuts sometimes. My buddy got a call for a guy on PCP. This is San Francisco in the flats. He jumped out of his living room window, which is on the second floor. He broke his femur and was running around on a broken femur. I've never heard of SFPD using spit masks, but my buddy was spit on about 6 weeks ago by a woman claiming to have coronavirus.

Pants-of-dog wrote:If we let cops kill people with mental health problems ad do not hold them accountable, we make government less accountable to the people.

Voters aren't as compassionate as you think. They let people be homeless so they don't have to pay for the mental hospitals.

Sivad wrote:political abuse of psychiatry was all the rage in the gulagist republics.

This is part of why they were shut down in the states too.

Pants-of-dog wrote:1. How many people are estimated to be killed by police each year in the USA?

In 2019, it was 806. By contrast, the police in Rio de Jainero Brazil killed 1,810. That's an average of 5 per day in one city. You'll notice we never hear about that in the United States, because police violence in the US isn't really that big of a problem. Rio isn't even Brazil's largest city. On a population weighted basis, that would be like the NYPD killing 2-3 people per day.

skinster wrote:BLM is an organic movement that became a thing because of repeatedly murders caught on tape by cops of people of colour.

It's political, because the police only killed 259 blacks last year, and most of them were armed and dangerous. As the Beach Boys say, "I've been all around this great big world..." and I can tell you that cities like Rio have way more police violence than the entire United States. Rio has about 13M people. The United States has 330M people. Yet, the police in Rio kill more people per year than all the police in the United States. This is purely political. People like @Godstud or @Pants-of-dog know this sort of thing fully well. They just like to bag on the United States.

Machismo has taken over the thread with bar fight challenges.

I for one adore @Crantag and he can be losing jobs and trying to survive in small town America....for me he is great. Always will be.

Why I am not surprised about his PhD economics claims from a Tokyo Uni? It is consistent with his intelligence and understanding.

Anyway, my advice @Crantag (I know you did not ask for any) is to not get into any fights with right wing people with crazy habits and instead I think your cure for what ails you is to go and find a woman that finds you very attractive and forget about social distancing and not being intimate. Do that for a few days and eat great food and sleep well and the world of shitty economic job loss and fascist dumbness will be gone from your fine mind.

En otras palabras hermano Crantag....mucho sexo, mucha comida y mucho dormir....and all your troubles will be gone. ;)

Thanks, big sister (it's an Asian thing). All women find me attractive ;-). I am seeking a nice girl. I had to break up with my girlfriend in China because I couldn't go back. I came back to America to get a new work visa, and wasn't able to return.

I am definitely a Marxist.

I don't regard myself as a communist. Power corrupts. I believe in local governance. So in some ways, that makes me a small d democrat.

@blackjack21 it did happen as I said. They pulled up on me with flashing lights, and told me to show my hands. I was on the road watching the fire, trying to see if I needed to evacuate again. Apparently someone was running a tractor, and it's a no no in these conditions, and I think I heard them. I had my hands in the air. They asked me for my name, and I told them, and they didn't quite hear me, and I have a unique name. I reached for my wallet to show them my ID. Next thing, they yell at me, "Hey, did I tell you to do anything with your hands?" (Me) (Hands back up) "No, sir." They went and moved on. Rationalize this for me, genius.

They sound like military guys. There are also rumors that Antifa is starting fires, so they probably wanted to check you out. Reaching for your wallet unannounced when you have your hands up could be interpreted as you going for a weapon--something that happens more often than you think. So they barked at you. Understanding them helps to defuse them a bit. War vets are usually a bit hypervigilant.

No it was actually the sheriff's deputies.

I was reaching for my wallet because that's a normal thing cops ask for.

You should be thankful they didn't light me up, so that I'm still here to talk to you.

Nope. Don't visit bars or drink much alcohol. I did knock down and bloody the nose of a drunk bully that was picking on a smaller guy when I was in the Army.

I am glad to hear you left the Chinese Communist Party. That is one small step in the right direction.

Never been a communist. Always been an anarchist. I hope you hit him with a good shot. Sounds like you laid him out well. You gotta know when to stop punching, as well. I've taken and given beatings, but I won most of the fights. And I did lose a few. It's embarrassing to show up to work with a black eye, eh, but especially when it happens multiple times. I am a wildling, can't help it.

One time I knocked a guy spark out, I followed him to the ground, realized he was done, and walked off. His friend blind sided me with a punch which I believe broke my jaw (never saw a doc, but it hurt for well over a month, and it was hard to eat for a while, and it even made my ear hurt). I tackled his ass, and I was pissed off, and I punched the shit out of him until I got pulled off of him.

@blackjack21

blackjack wrote:Further, a lot of our cops today are Iraq and Afghanistan veterans who will pretty much shoot at the drop of a hat.

Yeah I believe that too! We lost a First Sergeant in Afghanistan in my brigade due to some circumstances that I wont go into which put us more on edge at the time during our tour. One of my best buddies in my platoon was a cop (served in a national guard unit) and he had actually been in a police shooting prior to our deployment.

By the time our tour was over he was all PTSD out and I am thinking 'Is this guy going back on the streets as a police officer?" Another guy I knew was a cop too who had been in numerous fire fights in Afghanistan. Went back home and soon after he was in the news because he was involved in a shooting as a cop executing his official duties.

He later got fired from his job. Then he got into trouble with the law because his wife left him for another man and he was stalking her and broke the restraining order she had on him. I remember when he had to go to court on that.

I cant imagine seeing that kind of combat in Afghanistan and then just returning home to police the streets of America. But, that's what a lot of police officers who served in Army guard units did.

I think after the particular tour I served on at the location i was at in Afghanistan, if i was a cop serving in a national guard unit, i would want to find a new profession at least for a few years.

Hindsite wrote:Funding of the movement

Movement For Black Lives (M4BL)

Politico reported in 2015 that the Democracy Alliance, a gathering of Democratic-Party donors, planned to meet with leaders of several groups who were endorsing the Black Lives Matter movement. According to Politico, Solidaire, the donor coalition focusing on "movement building" and led by Texas oil fortune heir Leah Hunt-Hendrix, a member of the Democracy Alliance, had donated more than $200,000 to the BLM movement by 2015. In 2016, the Ford Foundation announced plans to fund the M4BL Movement For Black Lives in a "six-year investments" plan, further partnering up with others to found the Black-led Movement Fund.

The sum donated by the Ford Foundation and the other donors to M4BL was reported as $100 million by The Washington Times in 2016; another donation of $33 million to M4BL was reportedly issued by the Open Society Foundations. Open Society Foundations (OSF), formerly the Open Society Institute, is an international grant making network founded by business magnate George Soros.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Lives_Matter

Did you read the above? The article it links off to is Politico is coming from U.S. State Dept type news, similar to The Washington Post or NYT. When I clicked on the so-called philanthropy websites confirming these donations I get to a page that isn't found. And then, a lot of the Politico article keeps referring to X group wanting to or planning to fund an offshoot of the Black Lives Matter movement, but doesn't state it has or show any evidence of that either.

It is a weird way to claim that Soros funded or is controlling Black Lives Matter but if you can get some of that funding over here to me, a supporter of the movement, I'll take it since I'm pretty broke at the moment. :D

:D I believe you are one of those men that find girlfriends fairly easily. Lol.

This scene being trapped in the USA due to pandemic issues and work visas is common. My husband has the same problem. I hate this situation. Got to get through it though.

I say you try for a Puerto Rican girlfriend in that small town. If there aren't any? Then you will be in deep problems. Ha ha ha...
