Latin American socialism is not Chinese state capitalism or Eastern European problems with socialism. Neither is it Swedish socialism or French socialism. Latin America has different conditions. You @Patrickov and @JohnRawls stop trying pretend to know why socialism is so attractive in Latin America. Study it. It is not a culture that is like the history of the PRC, it is not Soviet, and it is not American USA bullshit stuff. It is about poor people who have been dispossessed and exploited by Colonial powers for centuries and they want to be able to live decently.
