Ankara is bending under Chinese pressure to send fellow Muslims to China's concentration camps in exchange for the Chinese vaccine.

Chinese vaccine’s arrival in Turkey delayed, as Ankara is forced to agree to extradite Uighurs to China

The arrival in Turkey of the Chinese Covid-19 vaccine Sinovac has been delayed after a resurgence in cases of the virus in Beijing.

Delivery of the vaccine has been put back by “a day or two”, Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said in a statement on Twitter on Sunday.

The arrival of the first shipment of Sinovac had been expected on Monday after the Chinese authorities completed the approval process.

In Beijing, entrances and exits to some areas of the city have been closed after a sudden increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in the Shunyi district, which is located in the northeast of the capital and near Beijing Capital International Airport, Turkey’s DHA news agency reported on Sunday.

About 800,000 people will be tested in 92 laboratories in the region, DHA said.

Late-stage trials for the Chinese vaccine carried out in Turkey have proven 91.25 percent effective, according to the Turkish authorities. The first batch of Sinovac vaccines will be made up of three million doses.

The agreement by China to dispatch the vaccine came as Turkey approved an extradition agreement with China affecting members of the Uighur minority. The deal will allow for the return of terrorist suspects to China from Turkey, journaltr.com reported on Sunday.

World Uighur Congress spokesperson Dilxat Raxit said that the agreement would cause panic among Uighurs who have fled China and do not yet have Turkish citizenship.

Beijing has put economic pressure on Ankara for the ratification of the agreement, according to Raxit.

“We are calling on the Turkish government to prevent this agreement from becoming a tool of persecution,” he said.

Since ethnic riots in Xinjiang in 2009, China has increased the police presence in the region and established what it calls re-education camps for around 1.5 million Uighurs, a Turkic Muslim people.

In these camps, Uighur inmates are subject to physical and mental torture, among other violations, according to some media reports. The crackdown has pushed many to leave the country. An estimated 50,000 Uighurs have sought refuge in Turkey from repression in China.

In July, The Telegraph documented several cases in which Turkey had sent Uighurs to third countries like Tajikistan, where it is easier for China to secure their extradition.

SaddamHuseinovic wrote:Bionthech was founded by a Turkish couple in Germany. Pfizer works with them.

He is the son of a Turkish guest worker who came to Germany to work in a car factory. In fact, 20% of all German start-ups are created by immigrants or the children of immigrants, which is more than their share of the population.

Having come from a working-class background, the couple has been a tremendous success story. The two of them have more than 2,000 patented inventions to their name, mostly related to mRNA technology, cancer therapy and vaccines. They sold their first company for more than a billion to start Biontech as a leader in the field. They are worth more than 5 billions, yet he keeps on working in the lab while teaching at university.

Turks are as talented as the rest of us, just not in Turkey, due to a repressive regime that drives the talented into internal or external exile.

Biontech developed the vaccine with funds from the German government and partnered with Fosun Pharma in China and Pfizer in the US for the international rollout.

This is the vaccine diplomacy everyone said China would engage in, so no surprises here.

What data do you have that say's these Uighur's are fighters and not refugees?

They can only be political refugees or men who went to fight abroad and took their families, meaning they're in shit for terrorism activity in china and elsewhere. Only violent dissidents are hunted down and have cause for leaving one of China's fastest economically growing regions. Good riddance to these refugees. Just like those poor Hong Kong refugees that were setting people on fire and attacking buildings and are now running scared looking for a way out.

Furthermore nobody is forcing turkey to discuss anything. The headline is a joke.

Get a grip Igor. In China you get put away indefinitely just for talking about Tibet, Tiananmen, or Taiwan. You are also sent to prison for talking about what happened in Wuhan.

If we were in China, most Pofo members would be in prison just for expressing their opinion.

To extradite anybody to China is a crime against humanity.

His loyalty to China is rather bizarre given they would throw him to the curb once it suits them to do so. The CCP doesn't have much interest in sharing their prosperity with the likes of him or anyone else for that matter.

This is nonsense, having talked to actual Chinese people in china about all those topics and more, and even on wechat in chinese, you peddle cheap propaganda.

Most memorable such episode was on a domestic flight from Xi'An back to Beijing, an actual young Uighur wannabe activist sat next to me and we argued on the merits of his cause. He found American pro-Uighur propaganda useful, saying he wanted his peopled to have more autonomy, but even he drew the line on the genocide bullshit, seeing as he was literally a student that spent his vacations back with his family in Urumqi and had free reign to go anywhere and talk about anything in china and abroad. He had also spent time in Melbourne Victoria on an exchange program for two semesters. He was on a scholarship, his family were poor.

You guys are drilled by propaganda into believing some serious silly stuff. Oh well, you'll be dragged kicking and screaming to reality in time. Mark Dec 31st 2025 on your calendars. It's gonna be a big one.

Oh almost forget, over a thousand poor Uighur families moved to shiny new concentration/death camp.
