Well, hopefully your thesis is proven to be incorrect in the future. The U.S. needs to be a true democracy where ALL the people and not just ONLY a wealthy white minority is represented in government. A government that only really represents a small wealthy white minority is what I refer to as an apartheid minority rule somewhat similar to apartheid South Africa. The republicans do not seek to represent ALL the people, ONLY a wealthy few white minority. They would prefer the U.S. to be an apartheid South Africa.

Personally, I think we are best served with her running at the state and local level given that Senate and Presidential elections are ran and controlled at the state and local level. With the republicans in power at the state and local level, we can't trust the election results because they have passed voter suppression laws to prevent the right to vote to a select group of minorities, like black people, that they know generally don't vote for them. They can use their power at the local level to interfere and prevent fair elections. Gerrymandering is also another problem that has increased polarization in American politics.
