You do realize socialism killed many tens of millions from famines due to government mismanagement right?

We have to assume baby formula makers desperately want to sell their product to customers instead of losing money. Pandemic supply chain issues are largely out of the control of private industry and government. But we can be assured corporations are less enthusiastic about shutting their workplace down than governments are.

I strongly believe @Scamp and @BlutoSays only post these because they have spite against Democrats, and want Republicans (or in particular, Donald Trump) to return to power. However, their stupidity will only make people stereotype against Republican supporters and / or Trump supporters more and more.

I support Trump and the Republicans but I don't want to be seen as stupid as you two.
Can you two please fucking stop?

Mexico has a lot of baby formula available on the shelves. It is just too expensive for most bad salaries in Merida Mexico so they put the formula under lock and key to get it. It is not about not having baby formula. It is just too expensive for most stay-at-home mothers to afford in Mexico. A different set of problems. But nevertheless the same results. The babies are not getting the formula into their bellies. But most women here are encouraged to have cesarean sections instead of vaginal deliveries. So the milk is obstructed because of that. People need to realize how important having vaginal deliveries are to getting the milk by the mother's breast going and flowing. It saves money and it saves babies' lives. Get with the natural milk from the breast bandwagon. The formula will never substitute a healthy woman who is nursing her baby via her breasts as a substitute. But if the woman is ill, doesn't produce enough milk, or is on medication that might affect the baby? And emergency situations? Got to have the formula. Time to give families priorities in this world.

@Patrickov you got to deal with the rest of the ones out there in the pro Trump column and their partisan hacking. It is part of being a conservative in thought. Stuck with them.

Mexican baby formula issues:

Mexican news says desperate American (USA) parents are looking for baby formula in Mexico:

I see baby formula everywhere here in basic pharmacies and in supermarkets, Costco, and corner convenience stores. Mexico has independent factories here that produce highly hygienic milk for babies. But? The prices are hard for low Mexican salaries. So many mothers wind up stealing it off the shelves. The owners of the stores don't want the losses and they don't like prosecuting mothers who steal baby formula due to low incomes. So the solution has been to put the stuff under lock and key. Do you need a formula? You got to talk to an employee who will open the shelf for you.

The FDA fucked up but Abbott absolutely did what capitalism directed them to do: forego the cost of repairs to perform stock buybacks and increase profit for the shareholder. Abbott is clearly the hero in this situation, and it was beneficial to their shareholders that the FDA failed to catch them.

Republicans also voted 192 against in the House to supply $28 million to the FDA to aid poor families in buying formula. In comparison, the $40 billion Ukraine aid package passed with 368-57 in the House.

It's official. Republians hate babies and love death. I mean I guess you can love both, if you drink childblood in your Satanic rituals as the GOP does.

It seems like the Repuds are too stupid to realize that those 2 babies died while Trump was President. That the baby food factory had been unsanitary for years under Trump. That Trump handed the problem to Pres. Biden, and that Biden did the right thing.

Now that Biden has a plan and is acting on it they complain that he is spending money.

Of course, we know that Repuds will attack all Dems for acting or not acting. It doesn't matter what Dems do or don't do, the Repuds will attack them for doing it or not doing anything. BTW-- all actions by the Gov. will cost some money.

I think it's pretty clear at this point where the allegiances of our failed Republican party lies. They failed to stop Biden from getting into office and they continue to fail us now. They voted for a $40 billion aide package to some country called "The Ukraines" while they failed to vote for providing child formula to American Citizens.

The only answer is that they want to drink the blood of our children. It fuels their profane defilements in the eyes of Our God. Only the palest blood of the most starved children will satisfy their evil deity of want.

To be fair, I can't breed so I don't see this as wrong as you do.

Is it true that your role model d.trump's doo - doo does not stink? That trump smells like shit is due to his fecal incontinence. That's why Ivanka's office is right next to the Oval Office. She keeps a supply of clean underwear and baby wipes in her desk. Ivanka is the only one he allows to take his pants down.

My role model is not Trump. It is Reagan. But Trump had GREAT policies, but he spent too much and went along with democrats too often.

Trump is much more middle of the road than you could ever give him credit for. Fact is, you have moved way the fook out in to left field.

What's fun though is that you can hardly post anything without mentioning Trump. This I enjoy. Immensely. He lives in your head rent free. Maybe he's coming back! Maybe not! Will you have your cardboard box ready just in case?

The precisely the opposite of what happened. the Republicans have shifted to more extreme policies. The Democrats more middle of the road,

Three was nothing middle of the road about Trump. Like Reagan he was dithering old fool that was useful front man from those who wanted to cheat and rob ordinary Americans (as to Biden a dithering old fool who used by vested interests to maintain the status quo)

OK, I read the chain of tweets. OK, the corp made a series of assertions that proved it was not to blame for the deaths.
1] In a court of law the other side gets its say and to question the other side's witnesses. Both of these ways to help us know what the truth is are lacking from those tweets. Meaning we have not reached any level of proof yet.
2] In any case, Biden is not the cause of any errors made by the FDA in this case. If the FDA closed a plant that was not dirty or contaminated, that is on the FDA, not Biden. I'm positive the FDA didn't ask Biden for permission to close the plant. It just did it, because that is what it is supposed to do in a case like this.
3] The evidence I've seen asserts that the plant had been contaminated for several years, most of which were under Trump. I've also seen reports that the FDA has had budget cuts so the FDA is under staffed so it can't do its job; this is the fault of Congress and goes back to at least Obama and the Repub controlled Congress he had to work with.
