I know... stunning.
You, like many people, on the right as well as the left, do not understand the nuance of
fascist economics, and how it differs from both laissez faire capitalism, as well as state socialism. Basically, in a nutshell , unlike
liberal conservatism , with its
free market fundamentalism , the
post fascist national conservatives are
economic nationalists , whom are in favor of
state directed capitalism. This can be seen in both the example you gave of the response to the baby formula supply shortage , and also the gas price increase. As this article, from a supposedly conservative publication , illustrates, the American alt-right , while hating on the People's Republic of China , more generally, for being a bitter rival in terms of both red scare and yellow peril , seeks to emulate its economic model.

While I surprisingly have come to appreciate her commentary here , and to an extent find myself in agreement with @Saeko , on certain issues, if her profile information is still accurate, then @BlutoSays is actually seemingly on her side , in terms of economic theory, even while remarkably being in opposition in respects to the person of Donald Trump. For while I feel that it would make more obvious sense for Saeko to cross over to the position of Communism, or at the very least to that of
liberal socialism , last I checked, she still chooses to self describe as being a fascist, for whatever reasons. Figuratively speaking, politically, not necessarily romantically, it brings to my mind this song.
