The brits just dont have any politician who is both competent and in power.

Figures. Even a Jeremy Corbyn was already too much for them.

I would jokingly offer them our politicians but frankly no country deserves this abyss of stupidy that "rules" Germany at the moment.

Why are all current politicians in the west so completely dumb and openly corrupt right now. Do our elites who clearly control our system not see the problem with such grossly incompetent leaders ?

They are incompetent for a reason, @Negotiator. Any politician who is both competent and principled is swiftly sidelined or destroyed. Witness Jeremy Corbyn in Britain and Bernie Sanders in America. That just leaves careerists and incompetents in play. Which suits our true lords and masters just fine.

Sanders is also not principled, at all. Corbyn is just a nutjob, those are often principled in their madness.

Translation: I don’t agree with their principles.

Corbyn is nutty enough to be a pro-Islamist Marxist.

Sanders used to be anti-immigration, now pretends to be a multicultural liberal.

So, basically what I said then.

Can a Marxist be a supporter of Islamism?

How is Sanders consistent on immigration?

Marxists are anti-colonists, which is not the same as pro-Islamism. Many of the militant groups on the frontline of fighting religious zealots like the Islamic State and their supporters (Erdogan) are Kurdish Marxist groups such as the Peshmerga and the PKK.

Sanders is a pragmatic social-liberal. Emphasis on pragmatic. Just look how much Biden's political positions have changed over the past 30 years and Hillary before him.

The PKK made an alliance with the US and Israel, they expose the Marxist lies on imperialism. America is not always on the side of good, but it is most certainly not always on the side of bad. Take Vietnam, it was the United States that were anti-imperialist trying to defend Vietnamese Buddhist culture from the Communist imperialist empire building. The US however incompetently did try to encourage reform of South Vietnam and the empowerment of South Vietnam's Buddhist majority against the corrupt Papist ruling elite. There is a certain irony to the fact that under America's first Papist Presidency, the CIA aided the assassination of South Vietnam's Papist presidency in an attempt to weaken the Papists stranglehold over South Vietnam.

I would also note that the CIA also supplied arms to the Tibetans in their fight against the Han Communist imperialist invaders.

U.S. efforts in Syria, through the SDF, *were* good, though nominal.

U.S. involvement in Vietnam was *abominable* and abysmal.

From September 2014 to spring 2015, the YPG forces in Kobanî Canton, supported by some Free Syrian Army militias and leftist international and Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) volunteers, fought and finally repelled an assault by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) during the Siege of Kobanî,[126] and in the YPG's Tell Abyad offensive of summer of 2015, the regions of Jazira and Kobanî were connected.[127]

After the YPG victory over ISIL in Kobanî in March 2015, an alliance between YPG and the United States was formed, which greatly worried Turkey, because Turkey stated the YPG was a clone of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) which Turkey (and the U.S. and the E.U.) designate as terrorists.[116] In December 2015, the Syrian Democratic Council was created. On 17 March 2016, at a TEV-DEM-organized conference in Rmelan the establishment the Democratic Federation of Rojava – Northern Syria was declared in the areas they controlled in Northern Syria.[128] The declaration was quickly denounced by both the Syrian government and the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces.[63]

North Vietnam was supported by the Soviet Union, China,[13] and other communist allies; South Vietnam was supported by the United States and other anti-communist allies.[59][60] The war is widely considered to be a Cold War-era proxy war.[61] It lasted almost 20 years, with direct U.S. involvement ending in 1973.

Which makes it even harder to justify Corbyn's support for Islamists.

Sander's position on immigration 15-20 years ago would be labeled as Trumpian nowadays.

ckaihatsu wrote:Or 'anti-Islamophobic'.

No, pro-Islamist above all.

Russian money has been prevalent in London since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991,[1] following which many Russian oligarchs sought to invest their wealth in other countries.[citation needed] British Government policy encouraged the flow of foreign capital into the United Kingdom, for example through the foreign investor visa routes, introduced during John Major's premiership in 1994, one-fifth of whose recipients since 2008 are Russian citizens.[1] Additional funds flow to British overseas territories, commonly used as tax havens, such as the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands.[2] The concept[which?] is commonly associated with the terms "Londongrad" and "Moscow-on-Thames".[1]

Over £27bn is invested by Russian citizens in the United Kingdom.[2]
