The USA is the bully and I am glad Putin has taken a stand.

I will laugh as I did on 911 if he calls your bluff and takes out London or Berlin — America's yapping poodles won't be licking the big dog's arse then.

The world is full of bullies. Western leaders are bullies themselves, sure their direct behaviour is not usually as bad or questionable as a Xi or a Putin, but they ally with people, like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey, who are as bad, might even be worse if they got the chance. Even Benjamin Netanyahu, which Biden and Harris want to continue to supply with massive amounts of weapons has been described as a little bit of a bully.

The West, NATO 1.0 when into Crimea, in alliance with the Ottoman genociders in 1853. Not to bully of course, but supposedly to maintain the balance of power. Their attempts to pull Prussia and Austria into the war, succeded in breaking the Russia-Austria alliance. This actually undermined the balance of power, weakened Austria and enabled the rise of Prussia. Leading to the loss of Alsace Lorraine in 1871.

We must restore the old borders said the Liberals, even though the people of Alsace were not French. Through the alliance of encirclement with Russia and later with Joseph Stalin, by 1950 once the dust had settled from World War 2, they had Alsace Lorraine securely back and accepted as French by Germans. And they only lost East Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, , Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Albania, Russia, Ukraine, the Baltic states, China, Mongolia, North Korea and parts of Vietnam to Communism in the process.

The West are mad to gamble everything they have for the shithole that is Ukraine.

Vladimir Putin has already said that a Western move to let Kyiv use longer-range weapons against targets inside Russia would mean NATO would be “at war” with Moscow and he would use everything he has in his arsenal - nuclear, biological, and chemical - if they were daft enough to allow it.

GREAT NEWS FOR US LNG ! Largest energy supplier of Vienna (Austria) ensures 100% non-Moscow gas sourcing for 2025
One of Gazprom's last major clients in the EU has announced it will stop buying stolen Siberian gas. Austria's Wien Energy GmbH, which supplies gas to more than 2 million consumers in Vienna and its environs, will completely abandon gas from Moscow empire from 2025

With cost of “black gold” at 15-23 dollars per barrel, the USSR economy collapsed, and the sovok itself collapsed, and the "golden" horde (Moscow empire) budget can only be fulfilled only with oil price at $ 42.4 and higher

The US poodle is very foolish if it thinks it can go to war.

The General Staff say the UK has given so much shit to Ukraine (it didn't have much to begin with) that it can't defend itself.

Indeed. In fact this war demonstrates that quite nicely. All the self-imposed, ultimately abandoned red lines have prolonged the war and made a Russia-NATO confrontation more and not less likely. Ukraine should have received all the weapons on day 1 without restrictions on their use, limited only by Ukraine's capacity to absorb them.

I've never denied it, but I don't go around the world spreading death and destruction on a whim like you Americans do.

As of May 2023 ...

432,093 civilians have died violent deaths as a direct result of the U.S. post-9/11 wars.

An estimated 3.6-3.8 million people have died indirectly in post-9/11 war zones, bringing the total death toll to at least 4.5-4.7 million and counting.

More than 7.6 million children under five in post-9/11 war zones are suffering from acute malnutrition (War deaths from malnutrition and a damaged health system and environment likely far outnumber deaths from combat).

And now you are playing with an estimated 5 billion lives if/when this stupid Russia/Ukraine war goes nuclear.

Why not? Ukraine is another one of America's pointless proxy wars when all is said and done.

What is Russia' real red line, or to be more exact what are Russia's real red lines? I don't know exactly, but it seems to clear to me that the West has crossed red lines and that Russia has responded by deepening its relationship with both North Korea and Iran, both of which Russia has restrained and constrained in the past. It maybe years before we discover the full cost of Russia's escalation so far. We already see some of the consequences with our loss of security on trade routes.

This has never been an all out war by either side. Ukraine still exports Russian gas across its territory and receives payment for doing so. But what is Russia's real big red line. I suspect that the big red line is that it doesn't lose. Despite the set backs I strongly suspect that Putin and the Russian leadership have always remained confident of victory. This is why they have limited their responses to NATO's supposed escalation.

But hang on have NATO really escalated? Not compared to what they promised. NATO promised to bring Russia to its knees in six months and impose a humiliating Versailles type treaty on them. The fact that the West took a long time to send the western tanks and the F!6s and other advanced stuff wasn't supposed to matter because Russia was supposed to be facing total economic collapse and the inability to carry on the war anyway.

If Russia was really facing defeat, then we might have seen a very different level of response. I think most western leaders have always believed that Ukraine would ultimately have to give up not just Crimea, not just the territory they lost control of in 2014-15 but more besides, but there has been a huge political disadvantage to saying so. Politically its much easier for our leaders to shout Slava Ukraini and just wait for it to finally dawn on the Ukrainians that they will never be given the means for a real victory.

Recently I drunked and talked with a Bosnian guy ( I am on holydays) who served in the Ukrainian Imternational Legion. He had 25 confirmed kills in Balkan wars with infantery waepons ( not a coward sniper) to fullfill his brothers last wish to revenge him.

As he came back in Bosnia from Ukraine he had huge trouble with police.

But I have a son in Russia or else I would join the Legion

In vino veritas

The very notion that countries with nuclear weapons should be spared defeat in foreign wars must be rejected in the strongest way possible. It's geopolitical idiocy.
