There was no evidence to support the claim. Moreover, cats often go missing for various reasons, especially those allowed to wander outside.

Lee, for her part, feels terrible that her post exploded into a xenophobic panic against the Haitian community, and for the confusion and violent fear the post caused.

Cats kept outdoors will certainly migrate far and wide , especially when in heat . I remember when my sister and I were both teenagers . We had a black and tan tabby cat , like the one in the picture below , that we named Tiger . It had been gone for so long that we had presumed it to be dead . But then about a year or so later , on my sister's birthday no less , the cat showed up . Half starved , but alive just the same . I think that the all too credulous Christian right would do well to remember this one episode of "Veggie Tales" , which is a series of cartoons for children that evangelicals are so fond of , even the youths and adults , in terms of subculture .

That looks like chicken to me , although for all I know it could be anything , from rabbit to squirrel . But no , people think they need to presumptively speculate about things . According to Wikipedia , the only African people ever known to eat cat for food are in Cameroon , and there has been asylum given to people from that country , by the Biden administration , given the violence committed by the likes of Boko Haram . Funny enough , Islamists such as Boko Haram would forbid the eating of cats , for not being halal . I had known before about the terrorist violence orchestrated by Boko Haram , from hearing of the story of this one refugee whom went on to become a chess champion . But I suppose that the Trump campaign doesn't value certain the lives of certain human beings as much as it does select domesticated animals . And so , even though there is no set rule in Christianity saying that any animals are off limits to eat , as long as all the blood is first completely drained out , they had better learn that eating such pets as cats is a social taboo . And that angry lynch mobs might confront them otherwise , like what has happened in India , under the administration of Narendra Modi , whenever people are suspected of butchering cattle for meat , as they are literally considered to be sacred cows . It all comes down to the overriding cultural hegemony .

I suppose that could be why an euphemistic term for cat meat is roof rabbit . It can be difficult to tell the difference between the two . Oh , and by the , although my dad later came to raise Flemish Giantrabbits for meat , my sister and I never ate any of it , given that as children we used to have as pets Mini Rex rabbits .
