Why living in Canada has become Impossible - Hindsight
It looks like the standard of living in Canada is going down.
Too much immigration, relative to the percentage of population.
Keep in mind Canada has only 12% the population numbers of the U.S., and the majority of the land area in Canada is too cold for human habitation, or is not considered very desirable.
Around 85% of the Canadian population lives within 160 km (100 miles) of the U.S. border.
And more than 90% lives within 240 km (150 miles) of the border.
You'll notice that there are many illegal immigrants from other countries first travelling to Canada to then be able to sneak through the border into the U.S.
