It didn't undermine the "entire socialist apparatus" (whatever that means), it undermined the economy of Venezuela. It literally doesn't say anything about socialism.
My point is that socialism relies inherently on the "No True Scotsman" fallacy and always blames the failure of "true" socialism to materialize on some exogenous force that undermines it.
That's not my argument at all.
If socialism cannot exist without universal agreement, then it's never going to succeed as a political philosophy and is just a bunch of useless erudition to make lazy intellectuals feel better about themselves.
We already have a "universal agreement" among the capitalist class to use public institutions to further their interests, so the universal foundation for socialism is already there.
Yes, but they are inherently dysfunctional at this point. Look at their complete fuckup at trying to overthrow Trump. They also fucked up miserably in Syria and Libya.
The CIA is not trying to get rid of Trump
Trump is basically a godsend for the US empire, which is thirsty to forge an anti-Sino economic bloc.
It's 2020 and you still buy into this 5D chess Q-anon retard narrative that the CIA is controlled by a supra-national cabal that undermines US interests.
Nah, that's not what is happening. You're fanboying for a racist demagogue who is fully and 100% representative of the interests of the US ruling class and political establishment.
I'm not sure how that follows from what I said.
What I mean is that people who measure the worth of egalitarian ideals and movements on the basis of whether or not they can withstand CIA sabotage are moral infants.
