~10,000 people attended the Ellipse rally before Jan 6.

These weapons were confiscated at the door.

Now, given what we know about the Secret Service's competence, how many weapons were not? And how many were held by the folks that would lead the riot, who deliberately did not attend Ellipse and go through security?

I think anyone saying 10% of the crowd was armed isn't shooting too far into the dark, here. And 10% isn't nothing, its a tip of the spear, and it'll gut a few Vice Presidents, Speakers, and Congressmen.

They might not talk to you the same way when they're not around white people. They might even speak differently inside out or outside of a professional setting. I interview the man (no women, they aren't fit for work), I don't interview the idea of what they think I might hire.

Sociologists, who make their money off of the continued existence of the idea of racism, call this "code switching." Instead of its rightful name: lying.

Did you know that white men go into job interviews and drop F-bombs and wear stained wife-beaters and track pants like they would around their friends?

Rancid wrote:Yea, I could see them just being called "black" in America.

Still, does it matter?

As long as they are raised to be good, decent, and secure in themselves, they should be fine. Just don't let the Fox New Republicans near them.

All things being equal , I would agree that it shouldn't matter . But it would be hard to not let the Fox News Republicans near them , as that is how my sister , our parents , and I presume also her fiancee are like . It's literally like a religion with them . I would be the only contrasting voice in their children's lives , if I would even get to have influence .

SpecialOlympian wrote:Godstud, I'd like to revisit our earlier conversation. Why do you think the Trump shooter was able to register as a Republican in 2015, when they were 12 years old at most? There is some variation by state, but you have to be 18 to register to vote. That's when you register with a party, as that gives the state level apparatus of the Democratic or Republican party certain priviliges.

May I ask where you obtained this information from? Because frankly it's quite weird that a 12 year old was officially registered with a party.

Just as there are now High School Democrats , even before that , there have been Teen Age Republicans . Perhaps Thomas M. Crooks joined as an extracurricular activity . That is the closest I have ever heard of high school aged teenagers getting involved with party politics . They may get to meet with the candidates , and volunteer with their campaigns , but just not be allowed to vote in the elections . Now in my case incidentally , my high school , which is currently named Penn Foster High School , we simply had something along the lines of a Young Politicians Club , as an elective , which entailed my studying and answering questions on the Scholastic published book entitled " Politics and People" .
To illustrate , here are some pictures I found on Google , of the various clubs . Image

And its happening. The easiest way to determine the current situation in the polls is to take "Rasmussen" not because they are so good but because they are so bad and biased. Without going in to the nitty gritty in to their shitty methedology how to determine the current situation

1) You take Rasmussen polls that we got
2) Anything below +6 for Trump against Harris is Harris being in the lead above 50%.
3) +5-+4 in Rassmussen poll means that Harris is okay in the lead but still not guaranteed fully.
4) +3 for Trump and below means Trump is dead and basically has very few chances.
5) Tie or + anything for Harris means Trump has 0 chances.

Due to Rassmussen methedology and it is very scewed to the Republican electorate on mass. So according to that poll, you can see how Republican views are shifting or what they currently are on Trump.

Literally every white person I've interviewed and then been forced to hire because of DEI. We now have spitoons in the office because of them.

Hakeer wrote:I see that Trump wants the debate on FOX with their audience and moderators.

He’s pulling out of the ABC scheduled debate with no audience.

Obviously, he is very worried. Harris is a strong debater because of her work. It is really irrelevant where they hold it or if all the questions are known to Trump. This is okay. Trump will go off script and Harris will murder him. If he prepares like really scripted things then it will be plainly obvious to everyone that its rigged which is even worse.

Actually Fox will be even better, now he can't just can't be scripted. Because his MAGA crowd would be like wtf was that? Why is he a robot?

Alex Jones is tried the "she's not really black, she changes how she talks to different audiences to lie to them" attack line on his show and it just led to him doing a half hour of incredibly racist black and Chinese impressions.

The right wing should stick with this line of attack to show people how normal they are about women and black people, and how extremely normal they can be toward a black woman.

Harris should be better than Obama for debating. And Obama was pretty good.

Trump is actually pretty good at attacking people. He really knows how to put words in place. That is why you hate him, don't you? If he was a bad debater, you wouldn't even care about what he says. Facts are facts.

As for Harris's speaking skills, public speaking is just not a Kamala thing. She is really very bad at it. It is better when she is silent. That is why she hesitates Fox News debate.

It's not a lie. It's logic. It's the USA. if people were preparing to have an insurrection, they would have come prepared to do so. That they didn't is evidence that there was no plans to. Don't let facts get in the way of your feelings, of course.

You are the liar. That's your general behavior, @Rugoz. That the facts around this case keep changing as reported by MSM, is the problem.

Attacking someone isn't the same as debating.

Either way, Trump's performance wasn't so great at the debate either. He only came off better because his form of old man dementia thrives on attention. For being on stage with a historically, and literally physically, weak political figure like Biden, you'd think he would have had a Reaganesque "There you go again" line to walk away with. People came away from the debate with "Biden needs to retire," not "Damn Trump is good at debating."

If you put Trump in front of a bunch of bloodthirsty racists who want to hear him talk about empowering the police to kill and deport millions then he's in his element as the Platonic Fox News grandpa who had a few too many at Thanksgiving.
