Harvard stood by her despite her Congressional testimony in which she refuses to say if calling for the genocide of Jews violates Harvard's Code of Conduct, that is unquestionably true.

It is also unquestionably true Harvard stood by her even after donors like Ackman publicly said an apology is not enough.

The rest is @Pants-of-dog desperate to defend his conspiracy theories on donors, which curiously only involve Jewish donors.

The argument is whether or not donors have the ability to force universities to limit free speech through withholding funding.

Whether or not Harvard can be portrayed as standing by her is irrelevant to that argument. It is logically possible for Harvard to pay lip service to supporting her while also making it illegal to say “from the river to the sea” after Blavatnik withholds millions.

There has been no reasoning presented as to why accusations (but no findings) of plagiarism are more reasonable than the clear and evidenced influence on campus debate by wealthy donors.

In the case of Ackman in particular, we are supposed to believe that his (openly hypocritical) accusations were significant while his open and verified use of wealth to influence debate was not significant.

Go and tell a Harvard student to say “from the river to the sea” on campus and see what happens.

They would get punished.

So speech is currently censored in Harvard.

This happened shortly after a man named Blavatnik withheld millions in funding because he thought Harvard was being soft on antisemitism.

There is also the censorship stemming from the new definition of antisemitism being used. So it would be perfectly fine to say “Canada is a settler colonial state” but it would be punishable to say “Israel is a settler colonial state”.

Apparently Israel gets more rights than Canada on US campuses.

Condemning something is much different than rules or punishments made for students who say this phrase.

You claimed students at Harvard would be punished/censored for uttering this phrase. Since you have failed to provide any evidence for this claim we can reject your claim as false.

Sure.

What about the antisemitism laws passed by the US federal government?
