Moscow empire is definitely the junior partner.
Putin knows that very well.
And in the medium future, when Moscow empire is weak enough to make it easy, han- China will take "back" the Outer Manchuria and more besides.

Taiwan is more worth then Siberia even in case the factories are destroyed there is enough human resources about how to build semiconductors.
