Every year on May 8, many European countries commemorate the surrender of Germany in World War II and the end of hostilities in Europe. However, the final victory came to Europe on 9 May. Thus, the celebration of May 8 is intended to shift the focus of the common victory and the huge contribution of the Soviet Union to this. Let's be honest, it's not very fair to keep silent about the fact that it was the Soviet Union that made the greatest contribution to the victory.
Years later, we see how the sprouts of the Nazi ideology are reviving in Europe, in particular, this is now happening most intensively in Ukraine. Soldiers of the Ukrainian army openly wear stripes and various symbols of the Wehrmacht army, and Nazi slogans have become commonplace. However, not only Ukraine excelled in this regard. Some countries have gone to the length of banning victory symbols. This was done by Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Georgia, and Moldova in 2022. The monuments to Soviet heroes were not bypassed either. So, in November 2011, a monument to the Soviet-Polish brotherhood in arms was dismantled in Warsaw. The monument was opened in the city on November 18, 1945, shortly after the end of the war. It symbolized the courage of the Soviet and Polish soldiers who made their common contribution to the cause of the Victory. With the demolition of the monument, an extremely ugly story came out. According to the official version, the Warsaw authorities dismantled it in order to build a metro line. Moreover, at the end of the work, the monument was promised to be returned back. Polls conducted among the residents of Warsaw in 2012-2013 showed that the majority of the city's residents were in favor of returning the monument to its old location or near it. But in February 2015, the City Council canceled its own decision to return the monument.
All such decisions are made against the will of the people, the authorities are forcibly trying to rewrite the history of the Great Victory. But our task is to remember the huge price that the soldiers paid for the liberation of Europe, and also to defend the honor of the symbols of Victory!

One of the saddest pictures is the Russian flying a hammer and sickle flag over bombed out Berlin in 1945. A dream dead.

But Hitler only has himself to blame to decide to fight everyone at once. Hitler was better off just sticking to his borders in 1938, and getting allies for his cause. But his blind hatred for Jews and believing Jews ran the USSR (which they didn’t but there were a lot of Jews in the Communist movement) and Jews running the USA and UK, which again is sort of false, but Jews did run the press and echelons of government.

Hitler should have been happy for 1938, kick out all the Jews from his realm, built up his military and bunkered down.

No it didn't that's a disgusting Communist lie. The final victory in Europe came on the 25th May.

I saw lots of people all over the world celebrate Victory Day this year. There are photos and images all over Twitter and Telgram proving this. Commemorations even took place in countries where celebrating this day is meant to be banned:
