They've already blown their biggest wads on Trump. Stormy Daniels, the playboy model, the NBC tape, etc. Even the cooked up Russiagate coup has failed. So at best, they could just blow more smoke.
If anything, this story has me speculating that Trump pushed the prosecution of Epstein as payback to the Clinton/DNC machine for Russiagate--and they just pulled the rug out from under him by icing Epstein.
Beren wrote:Neither Trump nor Clinton had Epstein killed, someone else took care of him.
There's more than the Clintons that wanted him dead. George Mitchell and Bill Richardson were also implicated along with Prince Andrew. However, Code Rood is right that Epstein ran a huge Mossad honeypot op against US pols.

Potemkin wrote:Are you thinking of the 'M' word, Beren...?
There were definitely insiders, so it had to be a very professional hit.
Rugoz wrote:Nobody gives a flying shit about Bill Clinton or Prince Andrew.
Their respective political factions care a lot, and they probably have a lot more to be concerned about than Bill Clinton or Prince Andrew. My theory is that Trump is furious about the phony Russiagate coup attempt and he wants payback. Trump was going to use Epstein as his bull, but they called in the matador to swoosh the muleta and dispatch Epstein. Good show.
Rugoz wrote:It might all be nothing of course, I was only pointing out your pathetic Trumpster-hypocrisy.
I've never claimed Trump is pure as the wind-driven snow, but rather the deep state's efforts to play Beria have failed because Trump has been well ahead of them, and quite possibly because he's older now and simply more interested in grooming his children.

It's a smokescreen. I was actually surprised to see George Mitchell on that list. He was a district court judge at one point too.

No. However, many in the establishment were no doubt shitting their pants.
Sivad wrote:The Clintons are just the public face of a big machine, I doubt either of the Clintons have ever ordered a hit on anyone.
Right. Said machine probably ordered the hit on Seth Rich, though.

I'm sure he's dead. Dead men tell no tales.
skinster wrote:Unless it was the Russians. I'm surprised they haven't been blamed yet.
Joe Scarborough already did. He used to be a good guy. I'll bet he's very well paid for this stuff.
Beren wrote:Right-wing conspiracy theorists simply say the Clintons did it. A simple theory for simple minds, I guess.
The Clinton body count meme isn't viable for no reason. It's really bad luck to be too close to them.
Rancid wrote:What if he really did just commit suicide because he didn't want to carry the snitch label on the prison yard? :?:
Trafficking minors is a death sentence in the prison yard anyway. So his only hope was beating the charge.
Sivad wrote:The Clintons are one group amongst many who would want him silenced.
Yes. However, the dirt would come out on Bill Clinton, George Mitchell and Bill Richardson among others. They played pretty hard ball with Seth Rich and a few other DNC operatives in 2016. So it doesn't surprise me. Even Ann Coulter tweeted that he was likely going to die soon. Everybody knew this was coming.
Sivad wrote:The MCC is a DoJ facility and I'm sure a lot of DoJ deep staters didn't want him disclosing the real reasons for the sweetheart deal he got from DoJ. Everybody and their mother needed this guy dead.
That's another angle and motive. Everybody wanted him dead.
Rancid wrote:Fair enough. Yet another reason it would be easy to push him to take his own life.
Not that soon. The human mind would focus on hope. He beat the charges before, why not one more time?

I think I was in my late 20s, maybe 30 when Ron Brown's plane went down. When I turned on the news, they said "it was a series of problems", and every news show echoed the same thing. I remember laughing at that and figured they took him out. I never doubted that he was killed, but I was never quite sure why they did though.
