Hey guys, I found an interesting story about the story of Captain Edward Vernon Rickenbacker, who was Americas top ace during WW1. I just stumbled upon a story of his from when he was shot down during World War 2 in the South Pacific. I'll link you guys to the site, because it has photos and other stories if you guys are interested in World War 2.

Rickenbacker has a causeway named after him in my home town of Miami. It connects the Florida mainland at downtown Miami, to Key Biscayne. I think it's largely due to his war hero status, but also because he founded an airline (Eastern Airlines) in Miami back in the day, so he was a figure who helped Miami grow into an international city.
