An English Affair Sex, Class and Power in the Age of Profumo is surprisingly good. If you like things British, you should enjoy it a lot.
I picked it up on a lark, $1.99 for the Kindle at Amazon. I am old, and the dreary recitation of names and places puts me to sleep.
This is nothing like that.
If you've seen the Brit version of House of Cards, the main character is loosely based on Harold McMillan. Warmly recommended.
