-The evil empire won a battle, but not the war. The USA still have two important vulnerabilites. A massive trade balance debt and a weakened economy that failed to respond to massive Keynesian policies. Now, if we manage to boycott goods made by US enterprises, we still can deliver a heavy blow to the new Mongols.

cheap cigarettes, ford, macdonalds, nike. you'd have to boycott the companies and the products cause very little is in fact made here in the us of a. so you'll put some poor kid in a sweat shop in indonesia outta work. :knife: anyway, sorry to get carried away there. in the ott boycott of french products in the us, some french owned companies in the united states have had to lay off american workers because of this nonesense. i love knee jerk responses, makes the conservative right in the us look alot like the 'socialist' left in europe and vice versa.

-The boycott includes products made abroad by US multinationals. But you´re not 100% right. The imports as % of GDP in USA are relatively low (near 15% of GDP, less than in essentially all developed countries)

-The boycott must harm US economy, not us. If an US made product can´t be replaced with others, then we can go on buying it. Of course, video games and other stuff can be copied. It´s a way to make a boycott too
