Yes, definitely.

Forming a coalition with SN doesn't at all mean we need to renounce our opposition to statism.

So we are all agreed on the coalition with SN?

If so, the next step is to put forward our disagreement with their current political platform.

I should be more clear, I am in favour of the occasional vote alongside them along with communication; but not a formal coalition. We should discuss each communique with the party individually.

I think our goal should be to capture the government, and then immediately destroy it.

Do your superiors know what a subversive guy you are, Mik?

Not really, we all have to work for someone in capitalism - which is the point!

Besides, my job is pretty innocuous as far as government apparati go.

Mik - so are you in favor of a coalition with SN?

Kon wrote:We should discuss each communique with the party individually.

So what does that mean in practice with regard to the election?

Does it mean we will transfer our votes to the SN? Or should we form a nominally coalition but without taking up any position in the government if elected?

I'll have to check out their platform first - I'm so new to this thing!

I think an alliance with the SN is the only sensible thing that can be done. An alliance is not a merger, you should be busy introducing policy into the SN's platform not squabbling like little girls. If you don't get organised you will have a fascist state by default. Decisions need to be made we are running out of time!

I agree. We are only waiting for a response from Mik and Brio on the matter of coalition.

Once this is done, we will make some suggestions based on SN's platform.

So this has pretty much covered everyone.

If there is no further dissent, there would be a RF-SN coalition.

Sounds like an interesting experiment; I can't see the harm in participating in an imaginary parliament, and especially not of trying to destabilize it from within :)

I would be dubious about an alliance though; every time real life anarchists have entered a coalition they've been stabbed in the back, and the name on the handle was always 'Karl Marx'

Is everyone happy with the changes the SN are willing to make in their platform?
