The first act proposed by THP in parliament is to stop other monstrosities like the 74 page employment bill ever being passed again.

To this end we propose the following act:

No bill to be considered by parliament for a vote is to exceed 2000 words or 4 pages.

If you can't say what you mean in that much space you don't mean anything and we don't need kilometers of red tape to strangle enjoyment of the simulation by participants.

How I'm still not sure how parliament is run given the recent pofo outage etc.

If it's a bill ready to be voted on you are supposed to inform the Speaker, Demo, or me, the Clerk.

You are also supposed to put times and dates on when the poll starts and when it finishes, 72 hours after it starts, using Greenwich Mean Time.

And mark it clearly as a private member's bill so everyone knows, win or lose, it doesn't change the government.
